if its only affecting foundation personnel then containment isnt a big concern. all they have to do is avoid triggering the events as much as possible. it sounds like the more it happens the more creative the beings get trying to trick foundation personnel.
First off - I am ABSOLUTELY in love with the writing style and level of detail out into this SCP and will be actively seeking more of their writing! My one and ONLY criticism (which isn't a huge deal) is that a Prius doesn't have gears like a traditional manual/automatic transmision they have an ecvt (continuous variable transmission) system which dynamically adjusts based on several variables. They're essentially constantly making micro adjustments to the drive ratio the entire time you're give it gas to provide the highest efficiency. That's why they get the crazy gas mileage they do! Again, it really isn't a big deal. Just a piece of information I had on hand that stuck out to me. 😅
Note to Foundation directory - most if not all Foundation staff vehicles for standard transit should be reinforced in case ramming action should be taken.
This might be an oversight, or maybe I don't know too much about cars, but regarding the interview: the Toyota Prius doesn't have conventional gears at all, it's a continuously variable transmission. It has a 'B' setting for descending hills, but no second gear for ascending one.
Maybe the road is the Anomaly and the base/castle/bunker is an SCP Foundation Site... Affected memetically either intentionally or unintentionally, completely isolated for reason unknown, or no longer known.
Hey, I wrote this article! Thanks for the read, dude. The models are very tight.

Oh the animation of it's pretty neat! When they just roates sometime, of course that still shows off the model better, but it can can be more boring than when it looks more lifelike like this. Great job as always on the whole video, thanks!
Holy shit the moving model makes this so much creepier. Insane work.
Another Keter Class Yes! Headed to 1million my friend.
@PsychoTy I know right Ive been saying it since he hit 700k and now here we are at 800k .Its coming for sure. The Volgun rocks always awesome voice acting and top notch models.
This may be one of my favorites yet! I hope they make a connection to some other SCP in the future. Amazing storytelling thank you for a little brain break while studying for finals!
been trying to find this video again after listening to it probably a year ago or so. The title made it so difficult to remember which one it was, but back at last!
16:09 they're just standing there MENECINGLY!
Awesome presentation, really dramatic and well done. And I love the animated model as well!
Containment procedures: just hit it with your car, if you can do a trick while doing it, record it and show it to us, It will be awsome
These models have been amazing but hard to believe they could get better, thanks for the content my man!
With scps like this I believe that is possible non-scp foundation employees can encounter them, but none survive to tell their story.
"Like an angler fish" absolutely gave me chills
Whoa... great production and the end twist was well-played.
This SCP just has its own quirky ways of making you drive safe ✨️✨️✨️
If I had a nickel for every time the Volgan did a Video on an extra dimensional anglerfish known for drawing in people who belong to a very specific subset of people I would have two nickels which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice
what's the other one?
@@josemembreno3134 5005 lamplight
@@mrlaz9011 thank you!
Magnificent ending and your delivery of the lines were amazing.
Wish this was longer, such a cool concept. Great vid as always
"Pontiac firebird trans am"
"Accelerate to 130 mph"
*EASTBOUND AND DOOOOWWWNNN*
Your performance in this was amazing. Awesome work man 😁
That's a killer closing line.
I was driving while listening to this one. Glad I got home safe!
My only problem with the Volguns audio logs is that there's ALWAYS a dude who sounds like a grizzled gravely thick voiced veteran.
Not Every log has to have that.
"They were standing there, MENACINGLY!"
Cicadas noise is very comforting to me. since i lived in a tropical country, everytime i here cicadas noise, i know i am
alone and can do whatever i can. It was very peaceful. But i read scps and uhh i no longer feel so
The quality of this channel cannot be overstated, thank you for sharing these 😃👍
I don't know how I would feel about being woken up from fatal injuries just to provide information to my job. If his condition was that hopeless, then they must have induced consciousness with a drug. "Hey man, you are on life support, but you aren't fixable. Before we pull the plug tomorrow, could you tell us what happened?"
"Shining through the dark and calling you closer... Like an anglerfish..."
Man, i froze when i heard him say that.💀
Lots of little things add up.
The interview was really well done
Phenomenal, as always! Keep up the amazing work!
Im loving these newer articles!
Amazing job as always! And also like any good SCP there are no answers only question of what, how and why.
These models keep getting better and better.
"Acczelerated"
okay, to be serious, I felt my stomach drop when cicadas were mentioned. Not where it went obviously, but I do wonder if that choice of insect was intentional for longtime SCP readers.
This is a bloody good one. It has some great classic SCP world building and some really chilling scares.
9:53 " *from outside the vehicle* , her dog began to whimper *from the back seat* "
Lol wut 🤔
I love that this article features a foundation researcher transporting a live hog with no additional explanation
1. Highway 49 in Missouri.
2. Not many Elk, and no Moose, in Missouri.
3. A bear-like creature, eating-alive an elk/moose, in the middle of the road is intended to "incentivize" a driver to stop or get out...how?
Oh man, in a couple months when I start driving to work in the dark I just KNOW my brain one day is going to be like "hey remember that scp read by the Volgun that you listened to"?
I hate it when my brain does that.. It's basically the reason I had to stop watching supernatural horror movies years ago now
Another outstanding video sir, your work never disappoints and has really fleshed out this unique world! Keep it up!
Excited for you to hit 1 million subscribers soonnn!!!
Have you ever been driving down a highway when you find yourself in an extradimensional sectioan of road on which some unknown force attempts to block you?
_That's what it's like to drive the new Ford eff-onefify_
I'm glad I came back and listened again. Great work.❤😊
You ever get sucked into an instance of scp 6819? That's what it's like to drive a ford f150
Volgun your voice acting is usually amazing but the performance at the end blew me away, never stop uploading.
To me this channel is ear candy, just enjoyable
Probably one of the best Series VII stories I've heard so far.
Imagine escaping SCP-6819 only to immediately drive into 7034
That was amazing as always!
watching this while on an interstate for a road trip…such a sick experience omg!!😰😰
I feel like, at a certain point, the foundation has become like Batman in that I wonder how many anomalies come into existence simply because the foundation exists.
Why do I get a type of gang theme from the masked modal guys? "Ah see, it's one of them "Foundation" people fellas. Break their legs boys!"
Good lesson Doctor, phenomenal work 👏
I really liked the whole vibe this SCP article gave off. I wis there was more explanation as to why this place exists beyond presumably collecting victims. Still very good though.
if its only affecting foundation personnel then containment isnt a big concern. all they have to do is avoid triggering the events as much as possible. it sounds like the more it happens the more creative the beings get trying to trick foundation personnel.
Something about putting Foundation agents in cars specifically driven today really grounds this one, super cool
i have to make sure i don’t look at the actual video too much because i read ahead of the voiceover and i want to enjoy them lmao
I love scp readings so much :D
They were just standing there… menacingly
Wonder what would happen if Dr. Gerald tried to drive through this thing…
Would be cool if there was a log of a 3-man MTF attempting to infiltrate the building
This might be an oversight, or maybe I don't know too much about cars, but regarding the interview: the Toyota Prius doesn't have conventional gears at all, it's a continuously variable transmission. It has a 'B' setting for descending hills, but no second gear for ascending one.
I was gonna mention this. I think the writer just didn't know much about cars and picked a Prius because he need a crappy car for the story.
16:29 He's just standing there... Menacingly!
This made me feel weird. I mean i loved it but it creeped the hell out of me for some reason. What a great arricle
Maybe the road is the Anomaly and the base/castle/bunker is an SCP Foundation Site... Affected memetically either intentionally or unintentionally, completely isolated for reason unknown, or no longer known.
I just love how the recommended counter-actions include "ram that fXXXer."
