Nick you are the man. Your interviews contain so much information & inspiration because you are able to bring the best out of the people you interview. 100% my favourite interviews, thank you for making them so long as well!
Always have enjoyed Hopsin. But his interviews on HardKnockTV are one of the best. Thank you for being a GREAT interviewer and delivering great content! Awesome platform.
Hopsin is one of, if not the only artist I have ever heard tell his fans to get one of his songs on iTunes, or some other place on the web, or just download it for free. Just make sure to watch the video.
Hardknock whenever you find a good song and a good producer im looking forward to another DJ mustard type studio rendition. You guys have gave me such inspiration and new visuals in my head, You guys are awesome and the interviewer is awesome as well !! Stayyyyy forever passionate and focused
Hop, I have lots of respect for you, but you and Dizzy NEED to stay friends and NEED to keep collaberating, the music you make together is my favourite
hopsins interviews are always more interesting than every other artist I seen.. love how in tune he is with himself spiritually, mentally.. it seems it's easier to connect on the same frequency with others in the soul mind state..
I felt some good energy from watching these interviews. I respect that Hopsin has come to terms with the reality of the music industry. He can be authentic all he wants and still collab with different breeds of artist.
The ending at 19:00 and forward. This is why i respect hop so much. He's crazy, he lives in the moment, he might say or do stupid shit, but at the same time, he acknowledges that this is going to happen and wants to learn from his mistakes. A lot of people can take a lesson from that. Truly an amazing human being.
Aside from his talent, the main reason Marcus Hopsin has been so successful [even without good management], is the he's genuine and he shows it in his music. Especially in his ILL MIND songs.
After watching this interview my respect for Hopsin as an artist, Marcus as a person, has increased tremendously. Keep to you man. The person who will be there for you from the beginning to the end, is that reflection.
Fantastic video on so many levels. Nick, really like your style, man. Way to create the space for Hopsin to really answer and think through his comments. Hopsin, great strategy and comments, man. Looking forward to your new levels of business and continuing with your fantastic art. And thank you for puttin this interview up. Bravo, Sir.
Just watched all of his recent interviews. I tell you man, my favorite interviews are always Hop's and yours because they're so genuine.💯Too many artist seem generic but, Hop? He's real. That's why I'm a huge fan of his.
huge Hop fan, he speak the truth, poetically, if i had the money i would back your cause. your lyrics touch me everytime i listen to your music. do your thing man!
These Hopsin interviews were very interesting in how they reflect upon the public's perspective of artists vs. what goes on behind the scenes. Hopsin is right that in the past he was more of an underground, youtube, do-it-yourself rapper, and he's one of the biggest in that class of rappers. It's totally different from the life of a rapper who is on the radio, always meeting other rappers, and making their way around the entertainment industry/media. I will be really curious to see how successful Hopsin is as he tries to establish these relationships and foster his growth in the more mainstream rap game. I hope he is able to find this sense of success while maintaining his rawness and not becoming overly conscious of his own image that he is forcing onto the public (like in this interview when he does the impression of the rapper who gives really generic answers and acts like they don't give too much of a shit). Only time will tell.
I am a proud Hopsin supporter! bought your albums. Gong to buy some ill mind shirts from your website now. I hope every cent goes to you and nobody from funk volume.
This is the true definition on an "Ah Huh" moment and having an epiphany! EVERYTHING happens for a reason and there are no such things as coincidences in life. All things happen are Divine Design and if you don't get overwhelmed with your situation you will see blessings and lessons life is teaching you those very moments. Congrats to Hospin for making the paradigm shift.
The part were he talking about how he expanding to more artists and stuff. He really needs to embrace that more, cause he can learn a lot more. Not saying he isn't good, because he does a lot of things great. But he also has a lot of things to make himself more consistent. Ill Mind of Hopsin 8 was very good. Keep on improving hop.
Looking forward to listening to the next project Hopsin puts out. He seems a lot more open minded now, and a little bit cautious about collaborating with people he may have been against in the past because he feels like he might look like a hypocrite. We feel you Hopsin, make the best music you possibly can, keep a positive message and we will support you 100%! It's all love Hop💪🏻✌🏻️
What he said about his kids in future was really nice. It must be so good feeling when your kids tell you that you were amazing and that they want to be like you.
Been a fan since ill mind 4. nocturnal rainbows is still one of my favorite songs. Im rocking with Hop no matter what. Ima work with hop one day;watch! #UnderCoverProdigy
man I hope Hop F's up the game and makes it to the top... been following this dude for a minute... wanna see him succeed #UndiscoveredProdigy #UP dope name btw.
Im looking forward to seeing him break through to the next level. even if it is kind of selling out if he raps the same way its all good with me. you got to feed yourself and your family.
+Shawn Zamir FFXV idk man rap fans think that if you get all these endorsements or collab a lot with artists your selling out, where as i think he's making more money and making his life better.
RamboVisuals | did you know that one of the things about being an adult is that you can change your mind about things and disregard stupid shit you said when you were a teenager. Hopsin openly said he took shits at people for no reason on some dumb shit. Some of the people he took shots at he really didn't even know personally. Only children live life based on some hateful shit they said 10+ years ago about some people they didnt even know. Hopsin has grown so you should follow suit.
Unique Cat. When being real is just too real for a world fake on appearances and agendas. Doesnt matter what label Hopsin is under, im going to BUY his music. People need to su[pport what they love if they dont want it to change man.
Obviously Hopsin and Kendrick would be dope but tbh Childish Gambino and Hopsin would be fucking RAW, if you heard All Of The Lights Remix with Kendrick, Hopsin and Childish Gambino you would know why
How is he bigger than tech nine? strange music has made way more money than funk volume, which is how you define success. I've never herd any song by him on the radio except for am i a psycho. yeah thats youtube subscribers hop wants to become mainstream now; youtube is just a place to start like for justin bieber, i don't really like his music but he is youtube's biggest musical success and he left youtube for more money which if hop did would be awesome he would still keep a presence on youtube but would start focusing on what he is saying, the chess game that is the music industry. Not only that but he talks about wanting to get a better team surrounding him and strange music could get him radio play and be closer to shady records and dr dre. Being independent is overrated which i feel hop is starting to realize. Don't get me wrong I love hop and have been listening to him since haywire i just feel like if he would've signed to a major label back then he would be a lot bigger, with the major label doing advertising for him and setting up better opportunities which is what he's talking about in these interviews.
+Flametravers I agree he wants to build his own dynasty which will be Undercover Prodigy now but i think he might like do that same thing funk volume did with warner bros and get a co sign from a bigger label to get those connections and opportunities
Wow bro good thing I went to they're last tour. Damn I never that this would happen but hey the important thing is everyone keeps moving forward and changing and growing. And I gained some knowledge and inspiration from hopsin philosophy and others. We learn. Everyday. Rip funk volume .
Listening to Hop's music over the last 8 years; it's shocking that he gave so much trust to his manager; given the fact that we have seen so many artists get screwed by their teams. He came off as the type of guy that questioned everything.
Really interested to see how this new game goes, i mean hell he was fast he has spoke on growing up with battle rap and always being prepared for that. He made it he comfy he got what he needs but now he's hungry again and gonna tear it up. Look forward to seeing you climb and be everywhere.
This is why I love Hopsin, cares about his fans the most. No matter what he drops, I'll buy it.
+Pound Syndromee You realize he left because he was doing them everyday and he got burnt out and wasn't himself at them right?
Hoping for a Hopsin and Eminem collab at some point before I die.
yesssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Make a petition. Bother Eminem and Hopsin. We need it, man.

This interviewer needs a fucking raise. Asked exactly what I was thinking after that crazy metaphor. Bravo

Wherever you are, Hop, I'll always be a fan, homie. Thanks for keeping it real with us.
Hop, I have lots of respect for you, but you and Dizzy NEED to stay friends and NEED to keep collaberating, the music you make together is my favourite
just when you thought it was over yall drop part 3! greatest interview hands down! speak truth
You know Hop real as fuck when he says "download my music for free"
+tre97able Which means he's being real in knowing people do that, so you proved his point
+tre97able You don't need to swear to argue. Also hop is real for saying that.
tre97able
But from a real standpoint, it is. Notice how this is circling back to things being real. you seem to live in a fantasy.
+tre97able gr8 b8 m8 10/8
hopsins interviews are always more interesting than every other artist I seen.. love how in tune he is with himself spiritually, mentally.. it seems it's easier to connect on the same frequency with others in the soul mind state..
Dude, Hopsin is such a real person I'd love to meet him.
This was a dope interview, big ups for puttin this out, and for Hopsin clearing the air on recent events.
Hop is a pretty smart dude.
+Trenton Betts i thought that's already been established over the years lol
I felt some good energy from watching these interviews. I respect that Hopsin has come to terms with the reality of the music industry. He can be authentic all he wants and still collab with different breeds of artist.
He talks about Kendrick Lamar at 7:40 mark incase you came here for that.....

Finally! A interviewer that shuts the fuck up and let's the person talk! We love you Hard Knock TV!!!

One of the most sincere and cool rap artist I ever heard! Big respect from tiny Slovenia!! :)
Aside from his talent, the main reason Marcus Hopsin has been so successful [even without good management], is the he's genuine and he shows it in his music. Especially in his ILL MIND songs.

+BRVY Hell yeah!!
+BRVY Hell yeah!!
+BRVY I remember watching an interview of logic and he compares one of his skits to hopsin's "no words"
This is the true definition on an "Ah Huh" moment and having an epiphany! EVERYTHING happens for a reason and there are no such things as coincidences in life. +Roach P just like Funk Volume, he created Undercover Prodigy himself
Been a fan since "Sag my pants" lol. And still forever will be. Hopefully one day he'll record another HashBrown single.
When i heard ill mind 8 it reminded me of Straight outta compton.
What he said about his kids in future was really nice. It must be so good feeling when your kids tell you that you were amazing and that they want to be like you.
Just realized I'm wearing my 2015 FV Tour shirt as I'm watching this...
Been a fan since ill mind 4. nocturnal rainbows is still one of my favorite songs. Im rocking with Hop no matter what. Ima work with hop one day;watch! #UnderCoverProdigy
I just hope Hopsin don't change if he comes in contact with mainstream "rapper" and stays humble and RAW

Ask him when that clothing line come out i gotta help my nigga out
+hardknocktv will you ever sell the videos into a dvd set?
The only reason why most of these mainstream rappers are so rich is because they sold out hopsin you should know this
+Yesid Noguera Or its all a fabricated image..
You're very good at interviews. Sharing so your channel grows 👍
I have gained so much respect for this man after I have seen all 3 parts
Im looking forward to seeing him break through to the next level. even if it is kind of selling out if he raps the same way its all good with me. you got to feed yourself and your family.
wtf is a sell out?
+Shawn Zamir FFXV idk man rap fans think that if you get all these endorsements or collab a lot with artists your selling out, where as i think he's making more money and making his life better.
Brandon Rock or its when he goes against everything that his rap career is about and could potentially makes songs with the people he always dissed
+RamboVisuals | oh ok ya i get it, that would be shitty if he collabed with future XD
I enjoy Hopsin for his honesty, whether its in his music or stuff like this. When do you ever get to really hear honesty these days?
Unique Cat.
When being real is just too real for a world fake on appearances and agendas.
Doesnt matter what label Hopsin is under, im going to BUY his music. People need to su[pport what they love if they dont want it to change man.
I absolutely love the shooting analogy. Made perfect sense to me.
hes so intelligent with his words
Great interview, really connect with hopsin saying he wants you to feel his heart when he speaks. Might as well be Kano
Hopsin/Phora/Logic Should work together. Anyone agree?
yeah that would be dope
Yes as apart of the #RattPack i agree completely
good interview, loved it, also good luck Hopsin with your future
Obviously Hopsin and Kendrick would be dope but tbh Childish Gambino and Hopsin would be fucking RAW, if you heard All Of The Lights Remix with Kendrick, Hopsin and Childish Gambino you would know why
***** Ik but still if he did one song
+Maxi Rendaldo when?! wTF!!
Cant find the song ):
bino is dead this collab sadly never gonna happen
+LoL Cloud yea he's doing a lot of acting now and he's actually pretty damn good.
He's so real! Love the honesty!
Hopsin should collab with logic!

Factss
1 of the Realest human being out there...Bless
The funniest part of that interview was the machine gun.
yesss hopsin on hard knock love when you guys interview him.
Honestly Hop should've signed to StrangeMusic he would've blown up. After "Am I A Psycho" i thought he was going to blow up.
+Blake Simpson he has more subs than strange music has.
+Blake Simpson He's bigger than anybody on strange music. Why would he do that.
+jordan k Hop isn't bigger than tech, maybe he will be but not at the moment
+Flametravers I agree he wants to build his own dynasty which will be Undercover Prodigy now but i think he might like do that same thing funk volume did with warner bros and get a co sign from a bigger label to get those connections and opportunities
Wow bro good thing I went to they're last tour. Damn I never that this would happen but hey the important thing is everyone keeps moving forward and changing and growing. And I gained some knowledge and inspiration from hopsin philosophy and others. We learn. Everyday. Rip funk volume .
looking forward to the new more mature hopsin
Don't let him fool you again.
Just watched all parts of this interview. 1, 2 now this one. God damn. 100... I have kicked it with Hop too
He was bout to say "here with funk volume" at the beginning haha but naa "undercover prodigy" now
He said it on purpose. Watch the other 2 recent vids with him he said the same thing
+GeeZillion yeah of course I knew that haha I just was saying that it was in the beginning of the other vids
Listening to Hop's music over the last 8 years; it's shocking that he gave so much trust to his manager; given the fact that we have seen so many artists get screwed by their teams. He came off as the type of guy that questioned everything.
Hop should make some more songs with tech, when he made songs with tech that was banging
Really interested to see how this new game goes, i mean hell he was fast he has spoke on growing up with battle rap and always being prepared for that. He made it he comfy he got what he needs but now he's hungry again and gonna tear it up. Look forward to seeing you climb and be everywhere.
I wish he would collab with Shady!
We all do, I don't like much of hops shit but he does come with those bars 99% of the time
I just like his originality the most!
im very satisfied with hopsin expanding his mind to new possibilities and new things
Imagine Hopsin's campaign promises, if he ever ran for office.
"I'll always talk about masturbation!"
5 years later and the conversation was with dame himself and hop was apologizing for a lot
Dame want hash brown not hopsin
LMAO
+Ace Boom i dont get it
true
+Jake B. Listen to and watch 'No Words' and you'll get it lol
Damn...That's headtrip to think of...and it's true..
MAD respect for Hopsin after seeing this interview.
Very educated rapper very rare!
Hopsin, I understand everything you've said in every part. I hope everything works out for you.
