Hopsin has really upgraded his whole mentality about music and life. He's not "that negative" rapper anymore and realized what he's really capable - if he just focuses on the music. Inspirational.. Salute to this man, can't wait for his album.
This interview alone embodies the reasons why i love hopsin. I recently put him in my personal top 5 all-time. He writes his own raps, produces his own beats, directs his own videos, has his own label, generates his own buzz. Gotta love this guy, and if you don't ; at least respect him.
This is one of them interviews that sparks something in you and sheds a light on your past failures, showing them as just hurdles in life in order for you to sustain success eventually. It’s meant to be hard at first , just like when you first learn how to drive or do anything until you get past that rough patch and eventually it becomes second nature. We tend to look at successful people and see the glitz and glamour but don’t realise these people work so hard behind the scenes and the fruits of their labour is only a small percentage of the grind, stay hungry and always stay moving because you don’t know what future small opportunities or contact that could lead to something bigger or align you with the right people!!! Very inspiring video !! Can’t wait for the album !! Hopsin is underrated AF
damn straight!!! I wish I could bookmark comments cause your comment really helps motivate me and put things into perspective. I keep letting my ADHD keep me stagnant in life and I really need to push through it.
I think we take people like Hopsin for granted. Hes giving us so much valuable information out of experience, yet it just passes by. I know Hopsin would only wish he had someone like himself when he was coming up.
He also likes to give people advice on things he's completely ignorant on. That's why alot of people dislike him and that's why there's so many articles and videos about him titled things like "Why hip hop hates Hopsin" etc.
I said this before already and I'll say it again, the transitions this man has made, and the things that have changed him, he only focus 's on learning from mistake/success, the smartest man in the rap game, now watch him take over it, he's never too cocky never too shy, his rap game ain't goals, his mentality is!
bro you just inspired me to keep pushing and figure this shit out. I'm going to Create my own lane through the internet within a couple years. Mark my words. I have way too much to say. too many people need to hear my message. plus my skill is dope. I just need to reanalyze why I haven't made It yet. Give myself a brand and start marketing myself. I feel what youre saying on not accepting being 50 years old and never had made it happen as a rapper... I refuse to give up until I make this shit happen.
Always create, bro. Keep trying to better yourself whether that's on the beats or on the marketing side of things. We never have it ALL figured out. Even with as much as Hop has learned, he'll probably be the first to admit that he's still learning!
Such a down to earth and honest guy. Glad to have learned so much from this one video, and glad it was all from you Hopsin. Stay true and stay yourself. 💯
I'm currently going through the part where I'm running back and forth doing and learning so many things for the craft and while it gets frustrating sometimes, I enjoy it overall. It's great to have an example of success from it in Hopsin.
Hands down the most eye opening, interesting, entertaining, inspiring interview i have ever seen. dope af to see just how real someone is behind all of their brand image and media.
People like Hopsin and Token are the future of lyrical rap! This dudes new song Witch Doctor has me wanting to hear more of his music!!!! I am a new fan, learned of Hopsin from Token!
It's so fucking true. You can't just rap, those days are gone. I used to hit up studios when I was 12 to get my demos sounding good but quickly hated having someone else mix my shit and making it sound good in their ears, not mine. I bought karaoke mics, rapped on cassettes and then moved over to recording on a PC when I was 15 in 2005. Since then I've had to be the one mixing, mastering, video editing, directing, designing graphics, promoting, etc.... he's right, YOU CAN'T JUST RAP.
thank you hopsin for this help on what to do for an upcoming rapper im 21 so im still tryin to figure out how to make videos and where to post them sadly
ZIGY THOMPSON I peeped u out and u ain't bad bruh but I suggest not spamming the comments cuz that shit annoys people and that's not gonna get people to fuck with u bro
Dude where’s part 3? I love your interviews and at the end of them you always talk about posting the next video soon, except half the time it takes 2 months.
Damn he is giving people gold! Bars of gold in advice. People have no idea. He is humble and caring and smart and the other side of him is awesome truth spitting monster. I live and die for the chance to see this type if person. Damn near perfect.
You can watch part 1 of Hopsin and Nick's conversation here: Hopsin talks The Purge, Mumble Rappers, Jay Z, New Album, Undercover Prodigy ruclips.net/video/ZIanE7MLf0Q/видео.html
At 16:40 when he said "a little bit of money" fuck it broke my heart and almost killed me when he said 4,000 is little, I only have like $500bucks lmao
This shit was so fucking inspirational for me . I've been in songwriting for 6 years now ,rapping for 4 years but now I'm thinking about starting to upload shit etc . I feel ready . I'm 18 but I don't know much shit about editing . I only know how to copy cut and paste shit to form a video . I don't know how to make a beat and I can barely do any mixing . Knowing that someone who is a master in all these things was just like me when he was starting is a huge confidence boost .
I swear this makes me feel I'm on the right path.. I learned a lot on my own because I had no team... that Camrea stuff and editing is so true... now I got music with Beat King, famous Dex and Riff Raff.. hope I get a interview on hard knock one day
Hah this video is funny, but it has so much detail on some real things, behind the scenes and mentality, great video to Nick Huff, Hopsin and everyone involved👍🏼
I like this. It's like this in every aspect of life. College don't do this for you, you gotta do it yourself even if you have curriculum you're following.
I like how he actually mentioned the money unlike most rappers and people trying to act like they ain’t in it for money at least partially like he seems very honest
Man I love Hopsin, but I would love to see him talk about KAAN, and if he hasn't yet discovered him, watch him listen to his songs. You can put KAAN in the same group as Token when it comes to independence and doing it on his own without any backing of record deals etc.
Hopsin has really upgraded his whole mentality about music and life. He's not "that negative" rapper anymore and realized what he's really capable - if he just focuses on the music. Inspirational.. Salute to this man, can't wait for his album.

Hands down the most eye opening, interesting, entertaining, inspiring interview i have ever seen. dope af to see just how real someone is behind all of their brand image and media.

I love how real and humble Hopsin is. Self made rappers like Russ talk about doing it themselves in a cocky manner.
Always fucked w/ hop.
