Interestingly, I have had it for 12 months and some of the things you showed were informative. The clock does not keep time, I knew it synced with the app because it reset when I linked it but I did not know it was an option. Also I did not know you could turn on the display with the display cycle button. The ride mode indicator will change to a default mode now and again on startup and it is good to know it is road mode and not rain (I kind of suspected it was but knowing it is the default mode for sure is new). Good luck with the bike man, it is a hell of a lot of fun. The only real warranty issue I have had is the ignition glitching the error codes but HD is in the process of fixing that. My bike is a pre order from July 2021 though, so there is a good chance that it won't be an issue on a late 2022 model.
Yea there quite a bit packed into the digital gauge they have and sometimes the bug’s definitely get annoying but from my experience I have seem to get lucky so far I have seen some nightmare stories about the tech on RUclips but I wonder if that’s due to it being a 2022 instead of 2021 and have you checked the front of the seat where it meets the tank there’s staples in it that scratch the tank i covered it in 5 things I hate video but I think I should have made it the first thing I talked about
I feel that when I had mine I took it to the dealer cause of codes and the bike shut off on me mid ride they told me nothing was wrong and they admitted that they only had one tech who was even somewhat normalized with the bike so I could only imagine if I had kept the bike.
@@1250guy mine shut off before but last time the tire locked and I went down on the highway, they are acting like it’s not an issue and even had the nerve to say a lot of people are just accidentally switching it off like that’s what I did 😤
@@oliver6287 that’s horrible to hear man I hope everything gets better if you get the chance to try to switch out of the bike I ended up getting a street bob after barley 3 thousand miles and I’m loving it for as far as a Harley goes.
My phone is connected correctly. I use free Spotify. The buttons for the music on the sportster S do not work. They don't do anything. How can I solve this?
I recently got rid of the sportster s. The bike has a lot of software bugs they are working out if you have not had a update done to the bike recently it may need a update. If the bikes been updated recently you could try forgetting your blue tooth device and re sync and try again I would also recommend trying to see if other music apps work to see if it’s Spotifys app causing issues hope this helps
@grumpyvegan6439 You want to disconnect your phone from your helmet or headset, and often times you want to hit forget this device, because the thing resets every time you shut the bike off. You then want to make sure your phone is connected to the bike only. You then want to connect your helmet/headset to the bike under the add headsets section in the Bluetooth menu. Once it’s connected to the bike, you can control music and calls etc from the hand controls! Trust me, I spent a thousand miles trying to figure this out.

Also, it took me a long time to learn this, if you push the home button for a few seconds, you can toggle from day and night screen display.
