    TTop leaks, squeaks and flexes.

      They are cool though, but I can see where that gets frustrating

    Great video. I have done some research and figured out my timing on my mr2 may be off. cant wait until the next video. I too am doing my T-Belt in car its not too bad honestly

      Pull the valve cover to properly set the cam timing marks. Set the crank pulley at the 0 mark and it should be good from there. Put the belt on and then install the tensioner last otherwise you will be at it for days. Video will drop next week.

    The t-tops are what passes for air conditioning in mine!

    Did you consider changing the shift lever seat cup to the one Superklasse makes and switch to solid aluminum base bushings? Any opinions on those?

    • @bitingantz

      Depends. I think the factory cup is solid and if not worn dont see the need to replace. For the aluminum bushings i have a set but again dont really feel any difference .

    Your e brake cable is seized because of the caliper its very common
    Youll probably need a new cable and caliper

    I got the shift knob, the issue is I can't get it tight. the car is used and I believe it has a TRD short shifter, hated the knob so finally picked up a new one but it turns or moves sometimes when I shift. Any tips bittingantz?

    • @bitingantz
      @bitingantz  Год назад

      You could have an aftermarket shifter that has a different size or thread pattern to your new shift knob. Hard to say but try some thread tape on the shifter and see if that will allow the knob to “bite” and hold securely.

      @@bitingantz The knob bites so the thread size is ok but it won't bottom out, I can't seem to screw it down far enough
