- i made this edit with FL studio from the campfire scene from Dark Phoenix where Dazzler is performing. has the original song is´nt released yet and many people are waiting for it to come out and love the harmony and her voice,i decided to play arround with it,its better then 30 sec!

The mutant singing during the mutant school party is Alison Blaire a.k.a. Dazzler, played by Halston Sage. She is a mutant from the comics who can change sound into light, a talent she used to further her pop-singer career. This was the character's cinematic debut.

I just watched this movie for the like 50th time and was searching for this song, and only found it here which is sad :( but is such an amazing scene in the movie and a great track!

A dream come true for the true and faithful Xmen and Dazzler fans! They truely caught her likeness, however this song is very catchy and should have been finished and utilized in the movie more and then put out for radio and on a good soundtrack!

Thank you so much, I’ve always wanted to hear the full song and this is the closest we may ever get to it. Probably my favorite scene from the film. Scott and Jean are back together and Jean hasn’t gone crazy yet.

I love how they brought dazzler in to the mix. And the fact hat halston sage was playing her makes it even better. She’s a great actress. Wish they would start branching out into the more unknown mutants, giving them the spotlight they deserve because there are some great characters they could use

Banks said in a recent interview that she didn't know why the song was not released. She said she was very focused on her new album when the movie came out, so she paid no attention to it. Fans keep asking her about the song but it was supposed to be released with the movie's soundtrack.

Out of the mistakes in the movie this is a magical and masterful scene and showcases why dazzler and Jean should have been the main focus together in this movie

Dark Phoenix was a bad movie but the most frustrating thing about it was this scene. They give us this unbelievably beautiful song but there's no full version. Decisions Iike this is why the movie flopped.
You're absolutely right. They could've released this as a single or something since they didn't play the whole song in the movie.
True. They could have also given Dazzler a much more visible part and far more impressive CGI rather than having both a prominent Marvel character and prominent actress blocked out by someone's head in a large chunk of the original scene. The Dazzler scene should have been longer, and well, dazzling. Bad directing, bad filming, bad planning and production.
