- Another fantastic wee clip here. We have Robert Robertson and Ross Wilson from Tide Lines performing the beautiful song "Mo Mhathair". This was favourite moment for many people and you can see why.
Fair play to the boys. This must have been one of the smallest venues they have played but that didn't stop them putting on a fantastic show!!

Written by my Great Grandfather Neil Maclean The Govan Bard. This is a phenomenal version.
We are indebted to him for such a fantastic song.
Thanks Ian. A bheil Gàidhlig agaibh?
@@dannymcintyre3819 regrettably neither me nor my mother speak Gaelic. It is still a treat to hear these songs performed so well the language so entwined with the melody.
@@Gogsy100 thanks for your lovely comment. Thought I’d replied earlier when I liked your comment.
Beautiful version of this lovely song. Tears at the heartstrings. Love Calum’s version but Robert‘s is equally good. Have listened to it about 20 times and it gets me every time 💖💖💖
Cast onto the TV and sound system and turned the volume up! Wow
My granny was a Gael from North Uist, she used to sing this to me as a child. Sadly she is gone, but when I hear this beautiful song, she is still alive.
Wonderful performance Robert, thanks so much.
I never thought I'd hear this song again, once sung by my wee nanny! Tell you what Robbie, you don't half sing!!
I chanced across this video and was absolutely stunned by the singing. I left Scotland 43 years ago but have never lost my love of Scottish music. What a voice and lovely rendition of this beautiful song.
This is superb and sung with such feeling. Wonderful voice. Should be recorded on CD.
