I do love ostrich boots! Tough as nails, soft as slippers, and pretty fab-looking on top of that. My first pair of cowboy boots were smooth ostrich Justins, and they’re still going strong almost twenty years later!
@@JeremiahCraig I love it! And sooo soft, but I’ve had my toes stepped on by horses while wearing them, and the boots (and my toes) were just like “Meh. NBD.”
I've never found any boot hold up to one year of daily work for me ,got Justin work boot 7 months it's coming apart at sole and holes worn through on top of foot.
Sir thank you for your honest passion. It is truly genuine and you are a good instructor to cowboy boots, I'm very interested in ostrich leather boots. Also, your goat skin Lucchese boots review is amazing! Looking forward to my own exotic cowboy boots in the future.
My anderson bean umber bruciato ostrich boots are by far the most comfortable boots I have, along with my olathe capybara boots. Lucchese does the clean finishing but anderson bean and olathe do the things that make them last longer and be comfortable. They are for real cowboys.
Always said that my next pair of boots were going to be Ostrich! Maybe the stars will aline for me, lol. At the very least, I learned more about these beautiful boots. 🤠
I only have a pair of smooth belly ostrich, I really wonder what the difference is if any between full quill. I enjoyed watching the last giveaway while I was insanely bored near Idaho!
Seems to be a small pattern in the AB family of brands I've seen in modern Olathes too. Not a total deal breaker but you're right it's just a small irritation and buzzkill to the entire experience
I never win anything even on regular bingo and giveaways. I remember your last giveaway back in December or November. Some people hated on that and unsubscribed your channel. I do like your content on boots and am glad you are doing what you love which is reviewing western products. Thank you!.. and good luck everyone.
Yeah that was just a couple of noobs to the channel who got upset they didn't win haha. They'll probably re subscribe for this one anyways. Good luck on this giveaway Sic Wit it! I appreciate your continued support. It's always nice seeing your comments
It does seem like an overdone style now but if people like it and they can still sell them I understand why they keep making them. That said I would love to see more toe shapes in their stock styles!
"Hi Jeremiah, these boots really suit you! I'm done with ostrich boots, had no luck with them! I have buffalo, elephant, lizard,... rather round or slightly pointed toe boots or square! Nice your video and interesting ! ! "
I really like AB and their commitment to US products. The sloppy finish isn’t a deal breaker for me. Easy to fix on their part…they probably should add a bit more oversight.
Awesome content! This channel convinced me I needed a pair of Lucchese boots and I finally got them and have been in love with the fit and quality. Next I plan on ostrich or pirarucu for an exotic.
Love the look of those AB boots. Not a fan of the wavy welt though. I think for the price Anderson Bean needs to finish it better. I realize that it won’t change how the boots feel or perform but it just doesn’t look good. Thanks to Carter’s Boots for supplying the boots for the giveaway.
Love my Anderson Bean boots. Have 6 pairs 🤘. Will not buy any other brands. The fit is always spot on for me. I have None in Ostrich. Those are some Beauties. Would love to have them.
Kangaroo is so nice! Can't wait to do an extended test on some. I've done a video on a pair before but sent them to a friend. Hope to get another chance soon!
Finally got a pair of AB boots. They are smooth Ostrich, so comfortable. Found them brand new at a place that was doing a liquidation of a western. store. $160 doubt I’ll ever get a deal like that again.
I've been eying some Anderson Bean/Rios of Mercedes cutter toe boots. been checking some boot stores that have some stocks that I like with the tall underslung heel with the long spur shelf. just waiting for sizing to be right. circulating stock for custom orders can be tricky lol. nice looking boots, digging that leather piece instead of the plastic. just a nice touch that adds that much more to the uniqueness of the boot.
Will a hard leather insole still mold to your foot if you have a removable insole? I assume if so, it would be nowhere near as quickly… but would it mold at all?
Jeremiah, Have you tried fenoglio boots? (ive seen they offer affordable custom boots in "wilkinsons fine goods" and wanted your opinion on the Brand)🐂
How do they hold up for working i drive semi trucks hauling grain and milk looking to get a pair just dont want to waste my money if they are just for show and cant hold up
Nope! I have no problem with the "wavevy outsole or lines" that were shown. I am of the opinion that some if not most aesthetics are superficial cosmetic characteristics that more subjective than practical concerns. Equally, I think this type/style of boot is intended for more rugged and rustic wearing environments and except for those sensitive to such things, will go completely unnoticed. As for the specific style of this model: I really like the color combination and contrasting yellow stitching and piping. Ultimately, it a Fine Pair of Boots in my opinion.
Hey men, I got a question, do you know what boots dors Tommy Miller from The last of us part 2 uses? I’m trying to find for days, but i can’t find, can you help me?
Hey Tommy! I haven't played part 2 so I'll have to do some research but if I find out I'll be sure to make a video about it. I played the first Last of Us and it's one of the best games I've ever played. LOVED IT!
Great video, i live in Poland and it's always been my dream to own cowboy boots, just it's really hard to get them here. I just signed up for your give away and i truly hope that one day i'll put my hands on my first pair of beautiful cowboy boots!
@@JeremiahCraig Quick uptade, i just got my first pair today. They are a used Jose Sanchez black cowboy boots. Although they are 10 years old they feel like new so i hope to break them in more in the next few weeks and enjoy them for many years from now. Of course that doesn't mean i'm not gonna try my luck in the giveaway. These ostrich boots are from another world and i would be so happy to have them!
What good does it do to use American suppliers if you still make boots that have little flaws like these welts. Ariats Chinese made ostrich boots seem to have better quality. At this price point the AB's should be better.
It's still better the square ends in brown, dark brown, coffee... Other colors no! Besides, the ostrich leather comes out much better on the square ends than the round ends! It's my opinion ....
Never Ever heard of this brand- Anderson Beans. But disappointed with last couple pairs of Ariat boots, terribly uncomfortable. So looking at other possible brands, But I can’t see myself spending $5-$600 on a pair of boots! & I’ll add if you are paying $600 for a pair of a boots, you should not have to sand the edges down from poor craftsmanship & sloppy work. My last pair of Justin boots lasted for easily 5-6 years & were very comfortable up to the last year, then even with some repair, heal replacement & new insole , they are still not as comfortable as they used to be, but still better than the newer Ariat. Unfortunately I don’t see anyone around here that carries this brand for me to try em out. I’m in Georgia.
I have those boots and it's crazy how comfortable they are by fat of the 15 pairs of boots I have hands down there the most comfortable

It definitely could be worse but definitely a little bit of a buzzkill
@@JeremiahCraig great channel
Great color. Most brown/tan ostrich boots are either too light or too dark. These are right on, color wise.
Just started watching this guy, because I wanna get my first boots soon!! Absolutely love this dude !! God bless brotha!

I’ve seriously tried other brands and just can’t get out of my Anderson beans, I even pick them over my lucchese gator boots.
It's so awesome to find a go-to brand you love more than all the others! It makes everything easier. Thanks for watching Ray!
I don't usually like square toes but the boots in your video are the only square toe boots in the world that look classy, cool and great !

That’s all I have as well. I have been wondering the same thing. Apparently they are supposed to be even more soft and supple.
Like the review and your honest opinion,I just can't deal with wide square toe
It's not my favorite either but I understand why it's so popular. My fav is the R toe!
Good looking boots. I would get a very fine file and clean that wavy welt up. Nice information on the video. .
That would work too! Thanks for watching
I have the same boots in black and they have a wavy welt as well. Love the boots…the wavy welt is a mild irritation. Love the channel!

For $600 I would expect to finishing to be at a higher level but if you can overlook it seems to be a great looking boat

I love that the seam is not that straight. Shows that it is handmade and has got added love and soul.
I really like AB and their commitment to US products. The sloppy finish isn’t a deal breaker for me. Easy to fix on their part…they probably should add a bit more oversight.
I agree. A little more QA and it'd be an easy fix in the shop. The fact that they a dedicated to using US suppliers is very rare and special nowadays
I prefer a boot with a shorter shaft, around 11" anderson bean seems to like high shaft boots. check out double H ice sole boots
