@Elian Brantley bro, it’s over. If you’re hacking your chicks acct........she’s already seeing someone else. Had I spent the time in the beginning......you wouldn’t need to CYBERSTALK
This is my first time seeing your show, Jason. Eddie Trunk is a true believer and keeping rock n' roll alive. Glad to see you guys are out here doing the good work.
Eddie is always interesting and gives you his take on anything rock regardless of who likes it. You cannot ask for a bigger booster for metal or rock music than Eddie.
Great show! As a former Vegas local, I laughed at him saying he’d bail to Jersey in summer. I told people yeah 110+ *IS* hot, but its 72 inside everywhere 😂
Okay Jason Green has quickly became my favorite interviewer. Great questions with all the guests and always well done! I’d like to see Jay Reynolds from Malice on here or maybe Dan Wexler from Icon!
Jason, i know ya don't check comments (i don't blame ya) but just wanna say you're a pro at interviews and I've been blasting ya band Sin City Sinners here in the UK. Keep up the good work on all fronts! Cheers
The first show I saw was with my childhood friend Andrew Freeman. I have been listening to Eddie Trunk on FM radio since the 90"s. Screw the haters. Love your shows
A good interviewer and an interesting guest=success and this is one of the shows that has the formula. I was taught long ago, “if you do not have anything nice to say, then say nothing at all”. Works perfectly 100% of the time.
Eddie has always been very knowledgeable and use to watch That Metal Show on VH1 and AXIS TV and Trunk Nation caught on the cable channel as well. Was disheartened when the shows had to end. Would some time ago and now listen to Friday Night Rocks online and catch stuff he comments with and hear podcasts as I do as much as time allows for me to do so. For him being on the inside as an old record exec, the thing is to listen and even if there were things I disagreed with which is rarely I always respect his opinions and where he knows of what he speaks. Long live Trunk. Thanks for real good interview Jason.
@@WasteSomeTimewithJasonGreen yes he is. Met him at the Hard Rock in FLA a couple of years ago. Dude loves KISS and UFO, but the respect he shows to all hard rock/metal artists is off the charts.
Thank you for this Jason. Im a new fan and it's refreshing as hell to see an interview w/ someone who has some seasoning and knows their stuff! I definitely can see this getting big!
When it comes to resurrecting That Metal Show, Eddie Trunk basically answered his own question "We're rock fans". The only way it would work and get ratings if you slightly shift from metal to rock (rebrand it as "That Rock Show") especially with a whole new generation discovering classic rock from the 70s. He could have guests like Debbie Harry, Brian May, Chrissie Hynde, Wayne Kramer, Paul Rodgers, etc.
What a great interview! Like watching the rising son interview the master that treaded before him. Loved the Piazza story of him going to talk some sense into the boss! Lol. This is a guest you could surely return to occasionally. Trunk must have stories for days.
I wonder if Eddie is getting divorced or separated? No mention of his wife at all with reference to the Las Vegas house. And any happily married man knows a wife's input on a second and or future home is huge. Eddie almost made it sound like a bachelor pad. Any way I love Eddie and listen to his show almost every day.
Great interview JG. I know a lot of people don't like Eddie but for me this guy is Legen---wait for it----Dary, Legendary , Eddie is the man. Mad respect.
Nice interview, very enjoyable! I like how Eddie treats everyone with honesty and respect. I remember posting something on his website about TMS once and he took the time to respond back. Glad to see a more recent video of Eddie since That Metal Show was ended. The only thing you missed, was to stump the Trunk. Hope you get the chance next time! Again, nice one! Greetings from Greece!
Great show Jason. Another big problem with bands touring now is the insurance. It cost a fortune because now they have a clause for last-minute cancellation. All the member and crew get a quick covid test and a couple hours before going on stage find out that one of them is positive and all bets are off. There's a lot more cost.
I just liked and subscribed ! It's great to watch and listen to someone intellectual doing an interview, which is exactly why I enjoy Eddie's shows as well, and we all know there's a huge market out here for this ! Thanks Jason

I never got the whole hate for Eddie Trunk. Yeah, yeah, I know he's always the first to mention which big stars he friends with, but it sounds pretty natural (imo). That being said, he's always quite adamant about pointing out when he doesn't know someone personally. I'm not saying he's the end all, be all, but he certainly doesn't deserve any of the disdain that he gets.
Hey Jason! I keep enjoying so very much your shows! Wishing you more and more success. Do not mind negative comments. The only thing I kind of frown is when you make references to the porn industry which I hate because it makes people lives miserable and tears up families. Keep up the good work! Congrats!
Good interview. It takes lots of time but it's no time at all when you love doing what you do! Just stay consistent, always be real and best of luck!!!
Rock podcasts, whether they're by musicians, heavy metal heshers(in their 40s and 50s),and/or by younger people(in their 20s and 30s),are growing as enormous as wrestling podcasts(which are also everywhere on the Internet),with half of those podcasts(mainly the hesher ones) viciously badmotuhing Eddie as Eddie is a pure professional at his field who made a business that many of those mentioned people wouldn't have thought of doing. BTW: excellent interview with Eddie there(as were your equally excellent Carlos Cavazo interviews).
great interview,,very entertaining well done on interviewing such a great interviewer..i think you hit the nail with calling him the everyday fan guy..so just wanted to give you props...i look forward to checking out more content from your channel..cheers mate
Very cool very addicting your style your interview style is different and you're hitting an error and you're hitting the kind of music that I absolutely love
Jason you should give Eddie some advice on really listening to his guest, instead of constantly name dropping, and telling us all his achievements..we know! You do an amazing job Jason!
Have not always been the biggest fan of Eddie. I admit he does get great interviews. But man this interview really did a lot to make him seem like a good dude. Changed some of the negative opinions I had of him in the past.
I'm not a big trunk fan. used to watch that metal show every freaking weekend it's sad that it got canceled. he speaks his mind. i dont understand why so many artists have had issues with him . for example I heard Rob halford and the priest camp dont talk to him anymore. because he had kk downing in his show. its unbelievable
Based on what you said to Eddie about comments from viewers, it seems you should disable them all together. If you hate people expressing their opinion (which is what comments sections exists for) why give them the option? But you won't disable comments because the comments benefit you and the RUclips algorithm to help get better search results and views. I believe you are moderating comments instead, but you've hired or found a volunteer to do the moderating. As your channel grows I hope you can find people will to volunteer to help out. If you don't care what people think it still seems odd to allow comments just because of an algo and views. Let your content stand on its own. It seems a bit disingenuous because honestly you hate the concept of viewers critiquing or having an opinion that might differ from yours. All this said, AWESOME interview with Eddie and I just adjusted my volume depending on who was talking. Eddie is a class act.
