I just checked out Johnny singing for Enuff Z’Nuff and wow is his voice powerful and he has a Beatle thing going on in his voice, definitely would pay to see that today. Great delivery.
Everyone says Vikk steals , everyone that interviews Monaco mentions that sporadic , randomly made podcast. Johnny is a monster talent. As far as Z Nuff ….it does not matter who is in line up. The will not play more or to bigger audiences Finally, Frigo was a monster that has never been celebrated.
As a fan of Enuff Z'nuff, I'd love to see the original lineup with Johnny Monaco on lead. I had to go watch a live performance and come back to this and I must say, Johnny is very impressive.
Johnny is probably one of the most complete musicians in the business. He rips in guitar, sings really well, writes songs, produces. He does it all and does it very well.
Love the videos with Johnny in them. I’m going back to the beginning now and watching his first appearances on the channel. Keep up the great work Jason! 👍🏻👍🏻
Saw Johnny fronting Enuff many times (as you will see on my RUclips channel) and he was the only one that could almost equal Donnie as a vocalist and Derek as a player. A reunion tour with Chip, Donnie, Johnny and Vik would be awesome but there are too many egos there for that to ever happen sadly.
It's easy to see why you got a great chemistry together Looking back at that interview for the 2 nd time right after watching Donnie's . Great stuff Funny and talented that Monaco
"i came here to be uncomfortable" .........thats a bad ass being real AND thats great advice cuz that WILL make you better. thats how he got so good, killer habit- another great interview Jason. was looking forward to finally having the time to do this one!
Monaco! Finally this amazing guitar player/singer is getting some attention. I have been a fan since he joined EZN and am enjoying his solo music as well. Hello Monaco, and good luck with the new music. Funny guy, magician and so talented with his terrific music!
What a nice guy Johnny Monaco Is!!!! I wish him the best. And Jason, you're doing a great job with these interviews. Keep it up!!!! You are also a great guy. If you could interview any member of Fates Warning, Saigon Kick, Hurricane, TNT, Harem Scarem, Europe, Steelheart and so many others it would be great.
I really hope these recent podcasts are happening not randomly but planned to hype up a reunion it’s what everyone wants.....chip if ya see this man make the move
Great interview jason...saw enuff z nuff with johnny fronting in my home town of northampton england in 2001 , supporting la guns , great show in a very very small club , good memories!
Great hair, Johnny! Listen, I recently saw a clip of Johnny singing and playing guitar with Enuff Z'Nuff and I was blown away how great he sounded singing those songs. Such a great guitar player and artist. Keep up the good work.
Johnny Monaco is an extremely talented guy - singer, musician, songwriter, etc. A VERY fun and interesting artist....and Jason is a fantastic interviewer...
Johnny is a really great guitar player, that said, in a world full of really good guitar player's landing a gig in a platinum selling band is still a very big deal.
That's hilarious it sounds like ur opening an old shed door. I just started listening 20 minutes ago. I'm surprised to hear about that Poison stuff. I know people from local radio stations that say Bret Michael is a nice guy maybe he is to the fans but not their tour support
I love what you do. These interviews are great. If you know of an established band looking for a kick ass singer. Katt Mars is the guy in Hollywood for that. Talent , Great attitude, pro. Looks...everything! 🔮
I met Troy Patrick Farrell very randomly at a wedding party in a village in South Yorkshire (England) in 2008. He was on tour with White Lion and they flew over from France to be there. He seemed friendly and nice but really OCD. Like as soon as anyone finished a drink he was running around picking the glass up wiping the table down, washing the glass. Just struck me as weird behaviour. Fun night though. What's even weirder is that I ended up on the phone to him two years earlier when I was drunk at a friend's house and she was trying to get in touch with someone she knew in LA. It was totally unrelated and she didn't know any of those other people. Such a coincidence. I think she told me he was either Alice Cooper or Iggy Pop's drummer that time, I forget which.
I saw that Glam Slam Poison tour and he was terrific being there in place of Derek. I can't believe all this drama with Poison though..why would those guys have such silly restrictions? Weird. I saw EzN one other time in a club when Johnny was in the band and Donnie was on vocals. I never got to see the band as a three piece. I'll check out his music. I've already located it in my Spotify I had no idea this guy was still producing music on his own .
Since somebody threw out the name Virgin Steele for you (I had their EP back in the day 84) I suggest Loudness. Do you know anybody connected to that band? They would have an interesting story to tell.
Dude had all the freedoms he wanted. EZN could've not done the tour or walked away any time they wanted. Jeeze! Zip it with your oppression stories. I was backstage in Houston on thst tour and EZN's bus was outside the gate. I was told it was due to tours drug policy and EZN broke some rules. As I was leaving I got onto the bus. It was 1 roadie, Chip, and Donnie. Chip was very friendly and laid back. Donnie was cool but completely stoned.
Hey Jason green: I really have la guns cd album call Hollywood vampire my favorite song is over the edge : Traci gunns lead guitar is the greatest and phil Lewis lead singer on la guns singing high notes i really lost it my favorite alum la guns Hollywood vampire
I only heard Fly high Michelle and wrote them off when it came out, and then I saw them for the first time on the 2020 Monsters of Rock Cruse and I fell in love with the effect on Chips voice that really sounds great, then I bought their catalog and was disappointed that the voice wasn’t there . In my opinion Chip’s voice and effect on it gives them that original voice they didn’t have. And it’s a damn shame they are losing their audience. Unfortunately that’s what happens over time.
Another male rocker guest who is wearing "girl" Sally Jessie Rafael big eyeglasses.. Jetboy singer had them....almost ALL his male guests wear these.....why???
Jason why do you think EzN were as big as LA Guns or Faster Pussycat? Absolutely no way. Not even close. EzN never had a top 40 hit or a gold certified album. They deserved it but it just didn't happen. Even at the peak (,Fly High Michelle) they headlined a 1,000 capacity club in my hometown and they couldn't sell it out. Icon opened.
Never saw la guns or faster pussycat on David lettermen or Howard stern. The point was also that enuff Z’Nuff with original members can headline any venue guns or pussycat could
@@WasteSomeTimewithJasonGreen ok I appreciate your explanation but as much as I love EZN & I listen to their music far more than FPC or LAG i just don't view them as having that much drawing power. Maybe?
This guy should be a comedian or an actor his quick wit and sense of dry humor is off the charts.
Go Johnny go,,big fan keep going
I just checked out Johnny singing for Enuff Z’Nuff and wow is his voice powerful and he has a Beatle thing going on in his voice, definitely would pay to see that today. Great delivery.
Looking forward to seeing him over on the VEGAS strip tomorrow.
Known Johnny for years, amazing guitar player and friend.
Miss you Jeff pal! Yucca st.
This is what I’ve been waiting for! An amazing musician and hilarious! Thanks Jason!
Jeff pilson was pretty funny and of course he’s really talented too but none will top the comic genius of Johnny Monaco
Johnny you have a new fan! Thanks!
Johnny absolutely rules on guitar and sing absolutely awesome the total package!
Everyone says Vikk steals , everyone that interviews Monaco mentions that sporadic , randomly made podcast. Johnny is a monster talent. As far as Z Nuff ….it does not matter who is in line up. The will not play more or to bigger audiences
Finally, Frigo was a monster that has never been celebrated.
Johnny is criminally underrated!
He should turn to acting if he hates doing music anymore. He’d be great especially in a comedy
@@godzillasimpson8357 Yep, or stand up.
We wanna hear Vikk Fox’s stories from the era. Please make it happen Jason 🙏
I like the honesty in this interview, what really happens in bands..
As a fan of Enuff Z'nuff, I'd love to see the original lineup with Johnny Monaco on lead. I had to go watch a live performance and come back to this and I must say, Johnny is very impressive.
The now INFAMOUS Monaco
Yes, Chip, Donnie, Monaco... would be amazing!
Johnny is so talented. I got to watch him work on an album. Absolutely amazing player and singer.
John was my guitar teacher in 1989... a great guy!
"People are the worst kind of people!" - Johnny Monaco 2021
One of my new favorite quotes!
Hey if you can could you get Terry Glaze to do an interview. He’s a criminally underrated musician from the 80s.
Truth hurts 🤣
"...'slander'? He slandered those songs." - Johnny Monaco 2021
This one line is worth the watch and the thumbs up.
Very entertaining interview. Johnny is a cool honest guy. Great musician.
Johnny is probably one of the most complete musicians in the business. He rips in guitar, sings really well, writes songs, produces. He does it all and does it very well.
I saw Johnny play with Enuff z Nuff in a small bar in Ansonia CT awhile back and it was awesome show!
Love the videos with Johnny in them. I’m going back to the beginning now and watching his first appearances on the channel. Keep up the great work Jason! 👍🏻👍🏻
Johnny signed my ticket stub at the grand slam metal tour in Charlotte, NC. Had a great time.

Monaco is the business. Top man
Best interview yet and I had no idea who this was . lol
This guy is real and I like that !

Also a certified hairdresser.
Love it! Saw Johnny w/Enuff Znuff and it was great.
Great interview.
Johnny Monaco is so very underrated as a player and a singer.
Great session

“I had more freedom on a tour with Caligula”. 😂 Johnny dropping historical jokes. 9:10
Lol he has a way with words

Seen that tour to in Glasgow although it was 2003 i seen them. Awesum gig.
Keep up the great work Jason! We really appreciate these interviews. Would like to see a Virgin Steele or Zebra interview.
Virgin Steele/David Defeis could be total gold!!
Virgin Steel for sure or even Jack Starr
Or Wildside. Underrated band
Great interview Jason, really enjoyed the honesty from Johnny it was very refreshing.
This was great guys. I laughed so hard.
Awesome, love Johnny Monaco🇲🇨
I love Monaco!!!!
"In the manager's defense... his shirt was wrinkled" 😆 I laughed my ass off on that one! Great interview! 👍

Gotta ❤️ Johnny Monaco
That's a music artist talking - Johnny Monaco!
Learned a lot from this interview... the way people are... always interesting to hear real life stories from people u admire a lot.. thanks Jason!!!!
Johnny Monaco is an extremely talented guy - singer, musician, songwriter, etc.
A VERY fun and interesting artist....and Jason is a fantastic interviewer...
so glad that I watched this again!
Martino... I dunno... couldn't really pull it off if you ask me. Johnny was amazing in EzN!
The gene wilder and Richard Pryor of podcasts
Best interviews = Tyler, Roth and now...Monaco. Great watch!
Hi Johnny ❤
I saw Johnny fronting Enough Z Nuff 7 years a go or so. Wasn't bad at all,Enjoyed the show. Johnny is funny as hell here.
Johnny is a really great guitar player, that said, in a world full of really good guitar player's landing a gig in a platinum selling band is still a very big deal.

Johnny is great player and seems to be a real down to earth guy. That's difficult to find in R&R.
This should have been titled-Johnny Monaco: The spinal tap interview on 12. There's a movie in here Jason!!!
Awesome video with Johnny......if he would of joined Kix he would of been a east coast gem.....the guys a kicker......\m/

Rush and Maiden posters on the wall - Johnny's a cool dude.
The Marbles stuffing…lol
Johnny and Charlotte... the Shite Sripes.
Love you JM x
That confrontation was quite the story to learn from. Sorry it had to end the way it did.
Jason, what did you mean when you said that poison doesnt write their own music? Love your chanel man lml
At least your not bitter johnny. Don't fly high just fly away.
There wasn't any Gossip & people bashing -
If anything, Being Honest ,, is like Honey attracts the Good Bees
He came back andi I left again lol
On the poison tour Ricky sold this past and it ended up on eBay the next day that's when they put the bus outside the venue
Jason, did you once run a discount dry goods store in BoroPark, Brooklyn? You employed my sister Shira & always closed for Shabbos ?
Not even a clue what you’re talking about, so probably not lol

I assume that's the "Troy" they're talking about...
Looked at some recent Phil Lewis photos and yeah, it's a wig. But, hey, if that makes him feel good, great.
Wow! I sure liked this one! You guys should do something together, Or find John a good gig..
I saw that Glam Slam Poison tour and he was terrific being there in place of Derek.

You should interview some good bands sometime..
I actually like Chip singing and doing records... I get tired of waiting for Donnie!
Jason, get a tan bro! Looking like a vampire lol... Just kidding, keep up the good work!
