Parsons was a great draft pick. I don’t think anyone was thinking he was going to be this good, but if he stays humble, works hard, keeps learning and leading like he does…we got us a Dawg!
He was a top 5 projected pick before the 2021 draft. He fell for some reason
Every draft analyst had him as one of the top 5 best players before the draft. Every college football fan knew he would be the rookie of the year. He played like a more athletic luke keuchly in college
@@MustacheDLuffy still, nobody expected him to be a record breaking rookie and be in the dpoy conversation
@@merjanic2004 Probably not but still pretty damn good
@@MustacheDLuffy I did! I’m a jets fan and I said if we were picking a qb at 2 I would pick Parsons
Parsons is a godsend of a talent! The Dallas organization or should I say Jerry, finally hit a grand slam with this pick..
So far, hands down, it's Parsons because he very effectively plays different positions in the defense, and while also making it easier for his fellow defensive players to excel at their assignments. None of the prior listed players can remotely smell that crucial achievement.
I remember pre draft pondering if they were to crazily take parsons. I remember thinking how much of a not so bad idea was at worst case scenario you have a extremely raw but fast LB. Parson now is on HOF trajectory if he continues
WR's are a dime a dozen, LB's like Micah are once a generation.
Eagles took DeVonta bc of his connection with Hurts and his ability to instantly help an offense, we didnt need a LB as much as a WR our WRs were John Hightower, Jalen Reagor, and Quez' Watkins I think we made the right decision but Parsons is a DAWG
During the 2021 draft I wanted Ps2 but Glad ps2 was taken at 9, and Glad parsons fell 😤, the lion is a beast 😈😤
Same
I agree. But ps2 will be really good. Parsons better though
Same 😩😩

Parsons is a monster. In a league of his own. 11 games into his second season is rated the number 1 player in the NFL under age 25. Already has 12 sacks in those 11 games. Offenses game plan to try to nulify him first.
Last year's Draft Class was insane.
The fact that the Eagles-Cowboys finessed the Giants, is one the best moments of "my enemy of enemy is my friend" type of vibe.
This aged poorly
You fucked that quote up so bad
@@ethanv310 how did this age poorly? The giants are still 2nd in the division💀
How?

Parsons is already the best ALL AROUND defensive player in the league hands down!
Love parsons I’m big cowboy fan he favorite defense player on cowboy
parsons is the goat
I feel like parsons is a generational talent but I think that all the picks that were taken before him were tactically better for what those teams needed. Also now that the season is 7 weeks in, most of these guys have improved and are now superstars.
Overall I think parsons overshadows them however.
1. Lawrence is good and started out good but really proved his a slightly above average QB. Not a lot more however, but a bad team could be a big reason.
2. Zach Wilson is the opposite, a player with a good record but his stats don’t show it and he’s only really enough to get his team a win. Better than people think, but not better than other player with a worse record.
3. Trey lance, he’s a backup to Jimmy. That’s all we’ve gotten.
4. Kyle pitts is alright, but the TE position doesn’t provide a lot of stardom. He had a good game against Seattle though.
5. Chase is amazing. Bengals star WR. Has his impact been felt as much as Parsons? I personally don’t think so. Chase is good, but being #6 in your position I believe falls slightly short of what Parsons has done, basically running a defense and #2 in sacks and #3 in TFL.
6. Waddle is a weird case. He saw some great games, but then tua went down and it kinda makes you question if he’s really the best or if he has a good bond with his QB. Hill also outperformed him on his team.
7. He is good, but held back by his position and his team. He hasn’t been as dominant in his position as other players, and sees a bright future.
8. horn can cover, but 1 int is just not enough compared to the better corners.
9. He helps a good defense but his teams offense is so bad he can’t have a good record, and with 0 ints he’s got nothing special this year.
10. Justin fields: under utilized, but still not nearly as good or dominant as Parsons.

As a Cowboys fan, I wasn't crazy about the Parsons pick at the time. Seemed to me that we didn't learn our lesson with Jaylon Smith, although he probably would have worked out a lot better (and been drafted higher) if it weren't for his injury. I wasn't too upset with it though, as the guys I wanted had already been drafted, and I liked how they were able to trade back and still get the guy that they were going to take.
But Parsons is way better of a pass rusher than I think anyone imagined. He's just as good an off-ball LB as we all thought he was, but he is legitimately a top 5 pass rusher in the entire league.
Parsons is the best thing that happen’d to thr cowboys since the Hershel walker trade.
I love parsons he was a monster last year
Before the draft I was ridiculously high on Parsons. Not really justifiably I just watched one game, and saw his attributes. Was telling my buddy who’s a dolphins fan they should get him. They got waddle and Holland tho so all good for them tbh
Low key a GREAT class.
Is this a joke? lmao “where are they now?” It’s been one year!! 😂
Wow that's a great first round 😎
Some great players in the draft
Charlie Sheen said Parsons has 1 speed ---- GO!!!!
This draft class is solid
My daughter who is named after my last favorite player, Charles Haley, asked me this past Sunday. With Parsons being your new fav, what would my name be...."Micah, your name would be Micah and no, i wouldnt have change the spelling Hailee." 😆 🤣
Good god it’s been one season. Where are they now? They’re going into year 2 of their rookie deals.
Right! Way to early!
This class was stacked
Me being a cowboys fan, i was all in for drafting Parsons. I really think he was the home run pick, next to Trevon Diggs. Parsons, at least in my opinion. Will stay for years to come.
what i got from this video is that everyone is a stud or can grow into a stud
I’m glad we got KP in 2021 still wish we got Fields but KP is top 3 TE in the league already
Bro this draft class was stacked
W video
this is a certified hood classic
11 is crazy
He reminds me of a young Lavar Arrington.
This is a great draft class
All top 10 picks were good picks, fields lawrence and wilson all showed flashes of being great qbs. Although parsons is the best in the class, some players should be taken of parsons in a redraft scenario
Anyone that says Parsons isn’t the best player from this draft class, is wrong
Second best chase is the best player in the draft
@@amariseni9839 no lmao, 13 sacks and 20+ TFLs as a rookie is much harder than 1400 yards
@@jonmykim10 Parsons faded down the stretch when teams started figuring out how to neutralize him. Most of his production was earlier in the season before there was a book on him. He also had a really good line to work with that helped him out a lot, and some of that talent is gone now. It will be interesting to see if he can replicate his production with less of a supporting cast and a year of film the opposition can use.
For now
@@hiflyer000 he had 3 Forced fumbles and 10.5 sacks after week 8. What do you mean he started fading down the stretch?
God you know he’s good when people start making “who was drafted before him” videos in the off-season of his rookie year. His career is going to be so fun to watch.
@Mason Crysel *KNOCK ON WOOD*
Enjoy the rookie season cuz it won't last. Why do i say this name one rookie in any time span that had a monster 1st year n went on the following year to surpass his rookie records, I'll wait......
Exactly it just doesn't happen, does he got skills yes!! With opposing offenses now knowing his strengths n weaknesses it ain't happening. Plus the fact of possible injuries just don't get your hopes up unless you want to be disappointed
Or he plays for the cowboys and their overrated every year
@@frankfrega1302 Hi Hater!! 👋
@@frankfrega1302 6 sacks already, dominates the rams and is the Defensive mvp favorite. Keep hating 😂
Seems like teams are pairing their young QBs with their former teammates. Cardinals brought in Hollywood Brown for Kyler
On Wilsons highlights the first two interceptions you showed were actually nice passes, both were WR error to me.
I doubt any of the players picked by other teams are regretted, because there are some outstanding players in that group. Now if Micah is able to keep playing at a high level and avoid injury (like everyone else) then he won’t just be the best player in this Draft, because he’s looking like a Generational player. One you can build a Defense around for a decade. But, it’s early yet!
I'm a Eagles fan. I'm still happy we picked Devonta Smith.
I was one of very very skeptical of Micah even calling him a waste of draft pick. I’m overjoyed that Micah proves me wrong every game.
How could u say that tho…he was a problem at penn st
@@JohnJohn-sg8df Who knew he was such a stud rushing the QB? How many highly drafted traditional linebackers succeeds in the NFL? Again, I’m glad I was so wrong.
As a Giants fan I wanted him so bad since my mom was a Penn state fan and loved him so much I wanted him and I was pissed when the giants traded him
Go parsons and Dallas cowboys!!!!!!!!
“Where are they now” bro it’s been one year 😭
Besides fields, everyone was a stud. Don't think its over for fields, and he showed improvement but we'll see.
2:46 When did Nate Sudfeld take the starting job? Did he even played a snap?
As a panthers fan i wanted micah, horn coo tho if he can stay as good as he was before his injury
Remember when he was considered a risky pick.
which is insane to me. his film screamed generational talent.
Just like Sam Williams, I think he'll be nearly as good as Parsons.
Me to
@@TheeUnknown420 I think Sam is gonna get unleashed in this defense
@@bigreese6046 SAME they can't double anyone on the Dline anymore I don't think honestly or they get punished with 1 on 1s featuring Micah, DLaw, Williams, Osa/Gallimore
Pretty crazy that everyone outside of the QB's and an injury all had great rookie years. As an Eagles fan I'm totally fine with Smith. If he wasn't limited by a run heavy offense and a QB who isn't a good passer he'd have had a much better year statistically.
Guess we know who the true best players of the draft are now. Parsons is above and beyond everyone in this class as it stands today.
The Chargers selected Rashawn Slater one spot after Parsons and he was a 2nd team All Pro and Pro Bowler as well...I think a lot of teams are kicking themselves, but I'm very happy with Slater
Cowboys fan, and I agree man, solid pick for you all. Can't be mad at that.
Slater was not 1st team all pro
This is going to turn out to be one of the best drafts of all time.
Denver, Carolina, eagles, giants, etc 😂
Slater was a great pick, usually takes a few years before Linebackers hit All Pro whether first or second if they ever do. Slater hitting it his first year says allot about the pick.
As an eagles fan I'm good with Devonte Smith. Especially since they screwed the Giants by picking him. Having good receivers after seeing every past pick bust brings me peace with that position.
Smith is a baller hopefully hurst can improve and actually get him the targets he deserves.
Smith will end up being forgotten in the NFL.
@@Deltaaaaaaaaa No I don’t think so unlike Dallas they don’t truly invest on one player that is mediocre. Look at what happened to wentz. Smith is extremely talented and went off as a rookie.
Parsons > Smith, all day every day
@@frenchtoastmafia1 completely different position and team needs when the eagles have failed to solidify their wr group. You can’t compare an offensive player to defensive player and what they mean to their team. Dallas had a glaring hole in the LB core so picking parsons was obviously the best decision for the team. It also helps when parsons is arguably the most talented LB in the league. Smith filled what the eagles needed in a top wr and so both teams won in this draft.
I know a lot of my fellow Eagles fans sometimes feel like we messed up not taking Parsons even though we all love Smith, but I think it's important to remember that Dallas would NEVER have traded their pick to us if they thought we were taking Parsons. They'd have gotten him anyway, the Giants would have likely never traded back since Smith would have still been on the board, and then we wouldn't have had either Parsons OR Smith. Ultimately I think it worked out well.
@Pretend Exactly. They made it no secret that they were eyeing PS2. They maybe still take Horn over Parsons if he was available at the time (maybe) but once they were both gone it was always gonna be Parsons
I knew this dude was the best defensive.okayer in the draft and damn near best player before the draft. It sounded like my cowboys didn't want him. Thank God they were left with no other option, I'm shocked so many teams passed on him, his film jumped off the screen and punched you in the face
Shows how much linebackers are worth
He has a sexual assault issue from back in college that had to do with another player. Nothing happened from it but still teams were cautious with him because of it.
To be honest once DEM BOYZ picked him I had to google him up and Man I was so surprised couldn’t do shit but SMILE 😃
Kyle Pitts had one TD because dude was getting doubled team and triple teamed consistently, AS A ROOKIE. He was literally the Falcon's only receiving threat, and still put up good numbers outside of TD total. If we were to redraft this draft there's still a good chance a decent amount of people would still pick Pitts over Micah. Parsons had one hell of a rookie year but let's not downgrade Pitts and ignore his other numbers by only mentioning his TD total.
Easy now, fuzzy lil' man peach.
Pitts is a beast. Unfortunately we're looking at two different teams. Shit goes a long way. If Pitts had went to Cincy or LVC, his stats would be much better.
That's the draft for yas. Ain't nobody taking anything away from the dude. If they try, hit 'em with facts. Peace and blessings.
Lmao only you would take pitts over parsons 😂😂😂
I was watching the Draft at work and I freaked out when PS2 went #9. Looking back, I’m beyond happy with Parsons. But just imagine PS2 along Diggs tho 🥴🥴🥴
Well I agree but ps2 was injured so who knows
As a Broncos fan I'd see neither of us can complain about those selections. Parsons is obviously a better player than PS2 but Surtain is still great and I'm happy to have him as a part of our defense
I turned the video off when he said he would take chase over Micah. I will take pass rusher over a receiver any day.
Trey lance gone be hard asf watch and correction he only had 1 int in college ,guy from my school picked him off
To early for this one
Parsons can play multiple defensive positions... can't say that about many others.
I remember watching the draft and praying the Surtain lander to us! When broncos took him, I was pissed Dallas didn’t trade up to get him! Then we take parsons, wasn’t happy at first ! Love the speed but I felt it was gonna be Jaylon smith all overs again! But oh boy was k wrong! Parsons is the best player from this class hands down! Chase 2nd
Penn St. poorly used Micah, or he would have made a bigger impact & gone higher. Very glad he ended up in Dallas. Will be a Gold Jacket Cowboy.
He was projected best defensive player though? Hes a linebacker a position that has less value than most other positions.
Baring injury
Remember, he missed his last year at PSU with injury
He fell in our lap. We wanted Surtain so bad or Horn. We even TRADED DOWN !!!! and still got him !!!!
If the Cowboys had a higher pick, they would not have drafted Parsons. Think the good Lord we had the 11th pick
I told my panthers to draft him…Horn is a good pick to but parsons just different!
People also forget he sat out his last year due to vivid which is probably why his stock dropped a bit
Parsons is easily one of the best already, but like teams draft for positions they need more than others lol
Must be crazy Parsons clearly #1. How mamy times a wr goes #1 over a game wrecking DE/OLB?
Trevor is the only one that can explained the rest can't
Parsons flashed in college but everyone forgot about him cause he took a year off for covid
If Parsons can end up with a Ray Lewis. Or Lawrence Taylor type of career I'd be happy with that even if chase has a Randy moss or larry Fitzgerald type of career
chill
Ummm no s*it?
Lol i know! but im just saying
Are you trying to sound like Mike Korzemba ?
He was plagued with Urban Myer as his head coach lol
Go cowboys
To be fair, how about a post about the players taken after Taco Charlton (TJ Watt, Ramczyk, B. Baker)? or Awuzie (Cupp, Kamara, Godwin)? or jourdan lewis and switzer (E. Jackson, Kittle, Roullier)? or Joey Ivie (Butker)? Or the players taken after Kelvin Joseph (Humphrey, Owosu-Koramora, Samuel Jr., Freiermuth)? Or, Gholston and Nashon Wright (spencer brown, Meinerz, Browning)? Now, some of those players may have been surprises (Kittle and Roullier), but the others were higher--some, much higher--on most mocks--and obviously, other teams' boards-- yet McClay and the Jones' decided to reach. Parsons has been a hit so far, no doubt. But good drafting teams don't pass up on value and don't reach as often as this team does. Whether it's poor evaluation (which I think it is) or Jones not following the board (which at times, I believe is true), this team does not draft as well as some think. How many premium draft picks (rounds 1-3), who are supposed to be eventual long-term starters, in the past 5-6 years have lasted long enough to sign a second contract with the team?

Where are they now?!? They're still on the team that drafted them 14 months ago.
Pitts quits on routes all the time. I sat there and watched him just give up only to see the ball go right where he should have been to get picked. He also can't catch contested balls. And I mean real contested balls. Not like the stats give which only require someone to be near by.
Defenses played the Falcons super soft between the 20s because they all knew there were no real trees zone threats.
The falcons QB was old & trash. Pitts & everyone in the stadium knew that!
