2XKO Finally Getting An Online Playtest, And Much More!

- This is it everyone, the moment we have all been waiting for. 2XKO will soon have an ONLINE playtest for the general public and for quite a nice chunk of time too - August 8th through the 19th!
We'll also be getting another EVO location test AND Riot teased for even more content coming to this new build so keep an eye out for even more news soon.

It's finally happening everyone... and not too far out either! Pumped to get more time in with the game, and for those of you who haven't had a chance to play yet hope you do this time around.
Still can't believe the news for the playtest is real - and that it's so soon! Now I just gotta win the most important 50/50, getting a key.
It really is man. Part of me is in disbelief, and assumes I just won’t get a key because that would be too good to be true. lol Fingers crossed and good luck to you too my dude!
We can see the light at the end of the tunnel. 5 Years wait but its all coming together, very hype :)

@@Aeroezz if they STILL don’t show her again this time around they really must be intentionally holding out for Arcane hype! Jinx trailer right before or after Arcane 2 would be pretty sick. Or better yet Jinx AND Vi!
@@BruiserMinion Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if they did that, and even tho jinx is the character I'm most exciting for I feel like seeing a character we have already seen again might not bring as much hype as someone completely new
I think ahri will be the most played character and we all know why. Thats why they reduced comolexity so new players who choose her will not feel overwhelmed with the game. I think its a good choice, because they need one male and one female noob friendly cool characters to hook new playera
Yea that's fair, makes a lot of sense. She also still looks really solid and I like her new kit too, it was just a bit of a surprise to see just how much they changed her with this - but I shall reserve judgment until I actually get to play the new version
Awesome video as always Bruiser🔥🔥 so about Ahri I'm actually glad her resource mechanic was removed because as cool as it was, the whole orb thing would MUCH better be suited to Syndra it's literally HER thing so here's to hoping she has a resource mechanic somewhat similar to Ahri's previous iteration
Appreciate you boss. And that is a VERY good point! Syndra in the vein of the previous Ahri makes a ton of sense, I love this idea. Good stuff!

i just noticed it goes with the alphabeticly order(the camp select) so we will have a champion thats from a-d and i think that only 3 fits the fighting game roster in that letter and its cammile and blitz and if we HAVE to have a zoner maybe caitlyn(fits with arcane that will come soon) they are unique asf and will be cool to see(exept caitlyn) (ofc i want sett in because not only he will be so cool there but he will fit perfecly into the grappler spot that isnt filled yet so yeah i want sett to be in but i think its onlu fair that cammile or blitz are going to be in next)
Man… blitz would be so sick though. He is absolutely one of my top picks, just sounds like a fun character for a fighting game imo!

Yea im definitely ready for more champs, it's been a hot minute since they showed off anyone new. At least we have one more confirmed coming to EVO!

Quick question for clarification, wen they say 'you can bring one friend in to play with,' does that mean you can give a playtest key to one other person or does it mean you can invite another person who already has the key online to play with you?
From what they have said you can invite one other person with you even if only you got accepted! Which is super cool imo, and does make a ton of sense considering how much they are pushing 2 v 2s for this game. Quote from Website FAQs - "Players who are selected to participate will receive a shareable referral link that grants Alpha Lab access to one friend. Players will only get one friend referral link, and each link can only be redeemed once. If you’re referred to Alpha Lab through a friend, you won’t receive your own referral link to share."
This isn’t a wishlist but a prediction of the champions going to be in the game, I wanted to make a video for it but I’m not going to get the time before the alpha comes out so I’m just going to drop the 17 here-

Solid list! I agree pretty much every of these would be a solid inclusion and number is about right too.
Feast or Famine type list. I would grind the Gwen and Lux matchups just to make them change character.

Yea... I know it man. Feels bad to see a pretty good chunk of ppl are still going to miss out but hopefully, there will be other tests for other regions shortly after this alpha. Either way at least we will all will be eating good with footage and news!

I have a feeling there is a ton going on behind the curtain we still haven’t seen. Really we haven’t seen all that much in terms of how it will be as an actual video game like any single player content or how the online even works. Could be much more than we know
Is there info about the eligible regions? Because in europe only France and the UK are officially eligible for the alpha lab.
I am from Germany and I can't find any information about this topic or maybe a workaround :(
Yea unfortunately the regions listed are USA, Canada, UK, France, Brazil, Japan, Mexico. I don't know if there will be a work around if those are the only ones Riot wants in this time around but I guess you never know someone might find a way when the test actually starts or maybe Riot might open it up more for all we know during the test or whenever they do another I'm sure they would. Hope you get to play soon boss!

Can 2xko be a huge success and be very popular to the point of being a third pillar of Riot along with LoL and Valorant?Will it be a success in Japan? Ahri is also very popular there
@@nobuzilla I personally think it’s very much possible for this to be one of, if not the biggest fighting games ever. It’s a huge IP, Free to play, and 2v2 so you can play with friends - all of which are huge selling points. As for success in Japan specifically I guess that’s hard to tell, but it sure still seems like Street Fighter 6 has been extremely successful over there so I feel it’s certainly possible!

Lol in the part he starts talking about Ahri losing her ammo and hoping that she still has a high ceiling - he completely misses the combo showcasing the new way to maximize her new kit
Yeaaaaa I may have talked over some of the sauce here, after re-watching a few times im pretty interested in seeing how she plays when the test drops. lol I think she'll still have some cool stuff, just done a touch differently than before.

Seems to have been the approach for several things they have been doing with these recent changes and I'm good with that as long as there is always crazy high-level stuff to learn as well - and so, there certainly looks to be. Counting the days till evo.... the perfect party starter right before this huge playtest.
