I remembered when SJB said that a 2TC with Ultraboost was impossible, now we are here with Ultraboost scoring 15 unique combos to this day, including one with the Crossbow Master which I was internally screaming with joy when the last FDDT was popped on R99. 😇This video was an absolute blast to watch throughout, must of taken a gargantuan amount of time to research into 2TCs, record, edit etc! Great video. So much of this takes me back. I loved watching the new combos when they were rare and the ISAB ones had great production quality. It was fun getting to pioneer Ace completions even though so many people ended up so much better than me at Ace micro eventually. Love the history.

this vid was a nice trip down memory lane! just putting it out there that shredder beat flying fortress in the mad dash to 2TC #110 for a brief crazy moment. The groundwork was laid with biper and I took a break.. until NK started dropping big buffs to fortress (gg extrem). But r98 solo tech went hard and shredder still had its moment shoutout to plorder, missed but never forgotten
the battle was fierce and I was honestly rooting for shredder cuz you guys were putting so much more effort into it but I guess the patch notes decided otherwise :( I am a bit saddened by the fact the year long battle between the aces has come to an end, but it was fun lol

19:25 I actually started alt map 2TCs! Alt map doesn't necessarily refer to non-logs; it directly refers to completing existing combos on different maps than the original (which tended to be logs).

@@vyor8837 with how low the proof standards were back then naming any specific way of faking the completion is an absurd thing to try and do but with the positions of the towers r100 seems impossible based on modern analysis and especially there is no known way to have the arms behave how they are shown in the screenshot of the end screen we have access to the version that the combo was done in and many people have independently come to the conclusion of it being faked
Hmmm this seems about as well researched as one can do without delving into the community themselves too deep, good job! One major thing though is the fact that version hopping was allowed, so a lot of the runs that appear "done" in version 31 were actually done much later when players were allowed to revisit past versions (which is quite the process, unfortunately, but it did allow for some cool 2tcs) For example I myself have never touched 2tc in version 31 until lately with this change, version 31 was also known as the most broken version of all time and had all sorts of wacky bugs that players didnt figure out in time despite the gap between 31 and 32 being the largest gap between updates and so it still had a lot left to give. There were a few other past versions that were touched upon too iirc, but the vast majority of stuff was done in 31 so the numbers there are a bit skewed another small thing to mention would be saudas ban only happening after the geraldo 1tc theres a lot more that was missing too but overall without beyond extensive research that is unreasonable to be expected from anyone, this is a great video to catch up to the history of the challenge with! Great job.

For long form content, I feel emplemon has the best mix of background music that’s interesting enough to where you can perfectly hear it, but it never interrupts and makes the viewer not pay attention to your commentary. I would perhaps look into something similar for longer videos, if possible. Aside from that, extraordinary video.
Honestly I'm surprised Churchill didn't get used more starts with Lead popping Gets an ability that let's him pop blacks and deal bonus to fortified at level 3 Gains faster firing machine gun at level 5 making up for the slow firing speed of the main tank gun Gains camo detection at level 6 Level 10 ability is specifically designed to help take down moab class bloons. Meaning that by level 10 and foward he can take down on his own Leads Blacks Moabs Ceramics Camo And also of course he doesn't do cold or magic so he can also hit purples and whites (wich most monkeys can but still) Meaning that on his own his biggest struggles would just be getting to level 10 in the first place and moab class bloons lager then a bfb both of wich can be covered by your pick for the 2nd monkey your using And his only other major flaw (I can think of) is that he's expensive enough he wouldn't be your first monkey wich is painful for hero class monkeys who benefit from being placed as soon as possible
"In 29.0, the Wizard Lord Phoenix picked up 6 new combos, 4 of which were by Extreminator." Bruh I got snubbed out of this whole vid. While my other 2tcs I understand cause they were part of large groups, this was unforgiveable. I DID DOUBLE WIZ IN 29.0, TWICE First time anyone did 2 of the same starting tower, and it wasnt even mentioned
@@lombre9149 I'm still lurking. I lost interest in 2TC after the PoD changes. I play every couple of months but I can't be bothered to learn new maps and towers at this point. I'm happy being a pioneer but it got too grindy for me and I obviously wasn't as skilled as you and some others when people started to actually learn and practice
It is unfortunately a bit of a dying community, videos like these could bring forward a wave of new people though which I am hopeful for. It'd be amazing to get some new names in there! My tip would be to indeed look at patch notes AS SOON AS THEY ARE OUT and try and do something with those, or any new towers/heroes that release with already well established towers like wizard lord phoenix, then rush those.
These are truly achievements, Ive only done a few 2TCS... and they were either easy ones that were done already, or brutal ones i couldnt even finish.. the thing i feel most accomplished with this game tho is when i got 2mp with gigantosaurus on frozen over day 1 of his release lol

This is a great video, my only recommendation would be to maybe take it a little slower with some quiet background music. Just a bit of the btd6 soundtrack would do this already great video wonders
You should add the index to the description. Additionally, three towers have yet to complete a 2tc (if we count sauda and gerry combos) that are theoretically affordable in CHIMPs. Those are Ben, Jones, and Super Mines. I have a bounty out on completions with those towers $50 for smines, and $100 for the others. Gwen (somehow, shockingly) was the fourth to last to be completed. I had a bounty out on her which was finally paid to tooprood

This is impossible as of update 41 due to the change to the carrier flagship miniplane darts damage type, but I would argue that the hardest 2tc combo ever was spirit of the forest + carrier flagship, right up there with archmage + comanche [before the update 35 buff]. For one reason and one reason only, and that reason is round 99. Every other round was practically free by comparison. I guess I'll claim this combo since I can't find any evidence that anyone else did it, and understandably so. The required plane paths were unreasonably specific, and since you can't micro them like the ace, it very much felt like luck.

For long form content, I feel emplemon has the best mix of background music that’s interesting enough to where you can perfectly hear it, but it never interrupts and makes the viewer not pay attention to your commentary. I would perhaps look into something similar for longer videos, if possible. Aside from that, extraordinary video.

Gains faster firing machine gun at level 5 making up for the slow firing speed of the main tank gun

Level 10 ability is specifically designed to help take down moab class bloons.
Meaning that by level 10 and foward he can take down on his own

Moabs
Ceramics
Camo
And also of course he doesn't do cold or magic so he can also hit purples and whites (wich most monkeys can but still)
Meaning that on his own his biggest struggles would just be getting to level 10 in the first place and moab class bloons lager then a bfb both of wich can be covered by your pick for the 2nd monkey your using
And his only other major flaw (I can think of) is that he's expensive enough he wouldn't be your first monkey wich is painful for hero class monkeys who benefit from being placed as soon as possible

@@lombre9149 I'm still lurking. I lost interest in 2TC after the PoD changes. I play every couple of months but I can't be bothered to learn new maps and towers at this point. I'm happy being a pioneer but it got too grindy for me and I obviously wasn't as skilled as you and some others when people started to actually learn and practice

It is unfortunately a bit of a dying community, videos like these could bring forward a wave of new people though which I am hopeful for. It'd be amazing to get some new names in there! My tip would be to indeed look at patch notes AS SOON AS THEY ARE OUT and try and do something with those, or any new towers/heroes that release with already well established towers like wizard lord phoenix, then rush those.

These are truly achievements, Ive only done a few 2TCS... and they were either easy ones that were done already, or brutal ones i couldnt even finish.. the thing i feel most accomplished with this game tho is when i got 2mp with gigantosaurus on frozen over day 1 of his release lol

This is a great video, my only recommendation would be to maybe take it a little slower with some quiet background music. Just a bit of the btd6 soundtrack would do this already great video wonders

Additionally, three towers have yet to complete a 2tc (if we count sauda and gerry combos) that are theoretically affordable in CHIMPs. Those are Ben, Jones, and Super Mines. I have a bounty out on completions with those towers $50 for smines, and $100 for the others. Gwen (somehow, shockingly) was the fourth to last to be completed. I had a bounty out on her which was finally paid to tooprood

Technically the meaning of T4 is a combo where the t5 could be afforded but wasn't bought intentionally

This is impossible as of update 41 due to the change to the carrier flagship miniplane darts damage type, but I would argue that the hardest 2tc combo ever was spirit of the forest + carrier flagship, right up there with archmage + comanche [before the update 35 buff]. For one reason and one reason only, and that reason is round 99. Every other round was practically free by comparison.
I guess I'll claim this combo since I can't find any evidence that anyone else did it, and understandably so. The required plane paths were unreasonably specific, and since you can't micro them like the ace, it very much felt like luck.
Both of those combos have been done btw.
