When boosting one of your abilities in btd 6. Would you prefer to improve the ability to deal damage or your attack speed by 100 times? Sabre and Tewtiy want to find this out, so they decided to mod their games in such a way to prove which one is more important when popping bloons!

Tewbre, I have a great video idea: FIRST TO WIN LOSES
A challenge where both of you guys compete in. The winner is whoever beats round 20 the SLOWEST. You guys aren't allowed to pause the game or slow it down. The regrow rate will be set off or really low (In the challenge browser slide) to avoid regrow Farm. And if you lose all your life, you lose the challenge. You can ofc modify the rules like setting the round to 15 or 40 or increasing the bloon speed. It'll be really interesting seeing how you guys stall the bloons without popping them.
This is day 4, so I would love to see you guys try this.

100x attack speed also has the same dips as damage along with the advantageous scenario, so it’s just better.
100X attack speed will always win in small money set-up, 100X damage will technically win in high money set-up, just because of lag - 100x attack speed will just lose because of limited towers to put down

The fact that tewtiy isn’t putting down any buffs is really the only reason he struggled. If he had down buffs he wouldn’t be struggling pre 300
Alchemist can naturally see through all walls as a 0-0-0
BTD6 heavily favors fast attack speeds due to most buffs being flat damage buffs. So x100 attack speed generally benefits more.
usually i would pick attack speed so damage buffs would add tons of DPS, but the lag makes it not worth it so i would take damage.

I did the math. A MOAB Eliminator's ability assuming 100x damage would approximately two-shot a round 200 Fortified BAD. Because of the exponential scaling, that really won't amount to much in the end.

@@Combine_37 With 100x damage, you'd pretty much want to play normally. Without farms, it's difficult to do anything useful though. Just the highest-damage fast-firing towers, I guess. But their relative lack of benefiting from buffs would cause issues.
And yeah, do 100x speed and 100x damage again, but you're also allowed the farm mod so you can have up to a T7 farm

I think speed is just better, expecially if you buff towers, the damage upgrades are all additive so you get diminishing returns in the tower strenght increase whit every damage buff (a +1 whit a 1 damage tower is a ×2 while a +1 whit a 10 damage tower is just a ×1.1) while the speed is a percentage increase that always makes a tower that percentage stronger

Sabre you need to use towers that have multiple projectiles. If you use the druid an upgraded once in the middle path 800 damage with the 100 times damage modifier
Its probably better to use a fast attacking tower when you get 100x attack speed, for example:1x100 is less than 9x100
Speed is better because damage buffs add (ex: +2) while speed buffs multiply (ex: x1.2).

well 100x damage is basically a watered down version of 100x attack speed because attacking 100x faster also means doing 100x the damage in the same time.
Considering Crossbow master has good attack speed, and with knowledge you can get 2... 2 Crossbowmasters that can solo a B.A.D, if you get 100x damage

Next time the money making towers should be included, but the money made with it on the damage side should be multiplied to 10x less than the damage multiplier, so if it is 100x again it would be ten times cash from farms, to make up for the speed multiplier

Tewbre the jungle drums upgrade is worth it because it is percentage based. It gives +17.6%~
100x firing speed is better than 100x damage. You both have the same dps, BUT 100x firing speed gets more constant, and with something like tack shooter, any damage buff is absolutely op.

000 dartling gunner with 100x attack speed would be 1 dart every 0.0002 seconds but because 020 gives it 50% attack speed it would be 1 dart every 0.0001 seconds or 0.1 milliseconds or 100 microseconds.
How about 100x atk speed but also 100x damage decrease VS 100 damage but 100x atk speed decrease. That way it is pure atk speed VS damage.
When will they realise how multiplication work? A tower that does like 800 damage per shot is equally good with 100x attack speed or damage, because it's multiplicative, not additive
