I found a vintage Emilio Pucci sunglasses with case at an antique mall for $16 and flipped them on eBay for $250! They were the kind Jackie Kennedy Onassis wore back in the 60s. Sometimes I wish I kept them.

I was at Ollie's a few years ago and they had Taylor Swift Christmas ornaments 95% off of their listed price of $5.99. The original stickers from the place that sold them to Ollie's said $17.50. So I thought 30 cents for an ornament I can sell for $17, why not. I got home and they were selling for over $50. The other day I found one laying around that I hadn't sold and looked it up. They're almost $200 now.

Great list of items. I just sold a watch the other day. I sell calculators all the time. Never find the crazy high valued ones but the ti-84s are always nice fast seller.

I feel like you shoulda threw in the little pro tip that you can test any remote by putting your phone camera up to the end of the remote and push a random button on the remote and it will shine a purple light threw the end of the remote if it's working. Super easy way to test your remote. Even tho they almost always work I've had one or two that don't.

I absolutely feel you on the calculators I heard about those from Retro Rick the Texas Graphing ones especially, sold my old one last year for good money. And some of these items like calculators sell for more money at different times of the such as the start of the school year/semester.
I think what you sell is dependent on where you live. I’m in a tourist town so don’t have that many college students around but I have other things that people in other parts of the country don’t

On the eyeglass frames...if you find them with the prescription lenses in the frames, do you remove the lenses prior to listing? Also how do you test all of the electronics like film cameras and camera lenses, or old things like HAM radios from the 70s? Thanks.

My question is how do you test random remotes if you don't have the electronics that they go to. You can put batteries in them and hit the buttons and look for some kind of IR light but you are still just taking a chance that they work properly.

good morning sir. I have a question for you : who would you announce bundeles or sets the best way? For example 2 Batman Actionfigures 1 Batmantelescope and 1 Batman shirt. Something like this, as i need to bundle up quiet a bit of stuff and on my recent set offer i hardly get any reply or people come up and want to buy out seperate parts of my bundles. So im really a little los on the terminology that shall be used and who a good Title would look like. Thaqnks by forehand and god bless you
You must live in a very wealthy community. No one in my town is wearing Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Prada, Oakley or Rayban sunglasses -- much less donating them to thrift stores!

Do you also sell ‘Cheaters’ - reading glasses with multiplications like 2.5 or 1.75 etc? Also, how do you deal with scratched lenses?
List scratched sunglasses as frames only. Do NOT list anything that has a multiplication. Those are considered prescription and will be taken down and you can get suspended. List those as frames only as well
Love these smalls! How do you organize your inventory as an everything seller? Im just starting and also have everything with mostly toys and clothes and limited weird space. I've categorized by size small (tiny toys that would get lost in a bin) and medium in the daily refinement style and large on the shelf. All with sku sticker. But scattered upstairs and downstairs 😅

Ive sold quite a bit of Texas Instruments calculators big and small, but recently, Goodwill went from selling these in a box for 1-3 dollars to 30 - 40 dollars. The Thrift stores are catching on to that little goldmine.

@@Steel.Canvas I still go into Goodwill I just don't spend a lot of time there--at least not in my town. I would love to get to where I can travel to other cities and check out what their thrift stores have to offer. I also try to do as many garage sales as possible in the spring and summer. Another way I source is not most people's way or it's not as popular but it's extremely profitable if you are able to stand it and that is through dumpster diving lol. I know I know. Dumpster diving has a unique stigma but if the people with the negative outlook on it could just open their minds a bit they would understand. There are cons to it of course just like anything else. And there are def precautions to take and use while doing it. But when it's broken down, the advantages outweigh anything else. I take what I can profit off of and donate the rest. What do you do to source?

Right now im learning about clothes, slowly but surely, but ive done best getting random tech at goodwill, things I can test, some items I source from an amazon return bin store. The items are ok from there, nothing too crazy
goodwill is a corporation that is hungry for big money...not to help the poor or pay school for poor kids...that is a front. sadly if they help someone is a really low low low loooow number of individuals...One time i crancked the numbers and calculate that they make more than 1 million in a week in one store...

I have quite a few vintage designer eyeglasses but haven’t listed them because they are RX. Was thinking about getting the lenses changed out to non RX but you say they sell well anyways!!! Cool. I will list mine
Alternatively, it is very easy to take the RX lens out which is what I do.

On sunglass frames only- Can you please specify if the lenses need to be removed, or do they only need to be specified in the title and description has frames only? Can the photos still have the lenses and can you still send them with lenses?

Just picked up a mixed lot of sunglasses (Prada , Versace, DG, Ray Ban, Coach). 24 in total picked up the 3 lots for $344 at the estate sale. So at $14 a unit cost I feel I should do amazing!

I would suggest taking the frames out otherwise you will get some idiot buyer claiming the prescription wasn't right.
Just so I understand what you’re saying if you picked up some designer frames that had prescription lenses in them do you pop out the lenses yourself or you’re just making sure that your listing title just says frames?

I picked up a vintage Roy Orbison leather vest for corgi (dogs) for $2 at a thrift store. I flipped it in less than 2 days for $500,000. Easy, in the description, I included "Vintage" and "Corgi"; people love vintage and they love corgi dogs, let's be honest. Ok, surely I jest, just wanted to comment and say, great work on this video, thank you for your time providing this information.

I sell them without batteries and chargers all the time you just put CAMERA ONLY. In the Title. I have a ton of batteries that I use to test but if you can’t test them you put UNTESTED in the title

Good question. I'm curious as well.
A lot of people don’t know how to replace the batteries, and would be willing to pay much more for a working watch, hassle free etc. replacing is easy as long as you are gentle and don’t touch the wrong part!, and batteries are like 4 for $1. I don’t resell and desperately need a job or income but yes I replaced a few batteries recently and it was rewarding to see old watches work again. However one didn’t work possibly due to my mistouch or just old so

If you haven’t sold a few thousand items eBay just doesn’t trust you enough to sell designer because it will most likely be fake. Sell hundreds of $20 items and you won’t have as many issues

I hardly find calculators, sunglasses, remotes, wallets. I have found one amazing hp calculator in my 10 years of selling and I've lived in 2 different states. So a lot of this stuff are Easter eggs. I have found a lot of ink and toner. Some cameras. The more this stuff is shared the harder it will be to find out there. Well done. I hope you make your video money.
