Pressure from the heated water pushes the water up through the coffee and up into the upper chamber. Basically espresso light.

I have a question based on your carnivore diet experience. After the first few days did you feel like crap once switching to it? I tried it and after the first 3 days I felt nauseous and had a bad headache so stopped. Not sure if it’s just something to get through since your body is adjusting or what your experience with it was as well. Thanks Ken!
Never felt nauseous but had diarrhea the first couple days until my body got used to it. Maybe you were not drinking enough water with electrolytes, very important. Sodium, Potassium and magnesium.

Definitely no sugar. My electrolytes have Stevia and it helps
