This is one of 4 sub-unit songs on ATEEZ's new album, and we're getting an MV for each (next on Jan 10th!). Also, Seonghwa originally wanted to be a rapper, but became more of a vocalist in ATEEZ (with Hongjoong and Mingi as the main rappers) - so it was epic to see his rap side again in this song. You 100% need to go deeper into ATEEZ - they are legit unreal :)

I’ve heard another reactor set (Handsome Sausages) say that Ateez makes music for musicians because all of their music is so intricate, layered, and interesting. I think you are feeling that with the two songs you reviewed. Ateez was my first K-pop group to listen to and they are still my ult group. Their entire discography is fire. Not one miss for me. Their b-sides could be another group’s title tracks. I would recommend you listen to their albums as a whole when you do get into them because their songs tell a story and listening to them in the order they are intended is a treat. Especially their The World albums. They even connect with each other. Chef’s kiss for sure!!

There are 4 unit songs on their most recent album and we are getting mv's for each one, dropping every week in January. Hongjoong composed the track and both Seonghwa and Hongjoong wrote the lyrics and it's a straight up diss track about their haters and stalker fans. This is probably in my top 5 all time favorite Ateez songs
I would highly recommend checking out Guerilla for the next song. You are so right that ATEEZ has super unique production, melodies, and rap flows and their energy is out of this world. I've seen them live twice and it made me exhausted and full of energy at the same time, they are amazing ❤

The production is insane! In different lives/interviews, Hongjoong said that he had 400+ folders of files while working on Matz with Seonghwa and that Seonghwa alone had written over 120 lines.
I've been studying film score production for years. Ateez is some of the most creative music I've EVER heard. There's so much texture in their vocal tracks alone it's f'ing disgusting. I'm not a huge k-pop fan, but I am the world's biggest Ateez fan.
Ahhh i loved this soo much! Def give the other Mini and full Albums a listen - their Discography is just so gooooood and so diverse you find something new everytime and even their bsides bring the energy. In MVs and Live Stages you can see how much they themselves just enjoy what they're doing. No skips they can do it all. Amazing lyrics with storytelling once you get a glimpse of their lore, so many genres and even when they do slow/emotional songs its just beautiful. The Eps are organized in Series starting with the Treasure Series, Fever Series and then The World Series. Personally the "The World" Series is my favorite musically with the Movement, Outlaw and now Fin:Will Albums. I could praise them all day but you should check them out more for yourself.
