ATEEZ is actually a group of 8 members, this is just 2 of the members. They do a lot of different genres of music, but they are known for very high energy music and performances, they are awesome ❤
From a music production perspective.... you guys are in for a TREAT. Ateez music production switches up flawlessly like every five seconds. It's the best music I"ve heard since the 90s.
So happy to see more people finding ATEEZ. As others said these two are a unit called MATZ. Which means oldest brothers, as they’re the oldest of the 8 members. There will be 2 more units and a solo MV coming out this whole month. But you should definitely check out Crazy Form and Guerrilla. And you can find live performances of these as well.
7:37 so far no live for this song, this album not even a month years old. But, you will never disappointed with ATEEZ live performance. They known as the best performer and always have their mic on. Their energy on stage are no joke. If you watch their other MV and feel the MV have a great energy, they give 200% on the stage for the same song. And going higher and higher for the next stage. Even we fans wonder how much more energy they can give us after each stage. They never disappointed us fr. You can watch their LA KCON 2022.

The second one is in their vocalist line. Name SeongHwa. Both of them involved in this song production and lyric. Someone interprate ATEEZ as The Musician for Musician. Because their music direction unpredictable. You will never know what will coming to you. But it always turn out great. They have various genre of music. Hope you will check them out in future.
Ateez is an 8 member group that debuted in October of 2018. This MV is a subunit of one of their rappers and one of their vocalists who also likes to rap. They are performance MASTERS!! It is more rap, walking around the stage heavy as opposed to choreography, although they are AMAZING dancers, but this gets you closest to MATZ since they haven’t performed this live yet.
I think I heard you say you’re into the rock. If so, I would recommend their Guerrilla MV and live stage. They also did a cover called Black Cat Nero that they added rock elements to. I would watch their live Immortal Songs version of that.
Honestly anything of Ateez’s will not disappoint.

Love watching new people discovering Ateez. They often dont get the same exposure as other groups cos of their small company, but they are so talented and have made many fans around the world and visited a lot of places on their tours - you could literally watch any live perf of them to see that they do bring the same energy as you get in this mv to the stage too, if not more 😂 If you follow their next 3 mvs being released weekly in Jan by the other sub units, you'll see how crazy their versatility is as a group! But also, they debuted 5 years ago so plenty of full group tracks to explore. Maybe Guerilla, Halazia, Answer and Hala Hala are a good start (or their latest title tracks are Crazy Form and Bouncy). Lots of the title tracks are hype or anthemic songs as they obviously work really well for mvs and also link up their whole lore/storyline but they have a great range of styles and genres across their bsides (my faves are Take me home, Silver light, Dune - the list could be endless so I'll stop there!). This is just their unit song of 2 oldest members, "Seong Hwa" (deep voice guy with tattoo on his neck) and "Hong Joong" (red furry coat) and "MATZ" is their duo name means the eldest. It's a real mix of everything. Their latest album (that matz is from) is brilliant- not just a great collection of songs, but created so well as an album with a variety of styles and interludes etc.

ATEEZ is a super good group, lately they have gained a lot of fame that they already had a while ago for their latest musical releases. If you listen to more of them you won't regret it, they are very varied and don't focus on just one style or genre. I love their motto "8 MAKES 1 TEAM"❤

This is mv unit Matz (Hongjoong and Seonghwa from Ateez). Ateez with 8 members with two main rappers, Hongjoong and Mingi. Also recently Seonghwa join on the rap line. However, Ateez's music is of a wide variety of music genre, very rich in instruments i said. And the music never disappoints at all, you'll also love their energy on stage during live performances, they always put their souls into songs with expressions.
And another, Ateez never and doesn't like lipsyncing.
They have also been called 'The Best Global Performance, and 'The light of KPop' as it comes from a small/medium agency.

They have a TON of great songs, but favorites among fans and reactors are usually: The Real, Deja Vu, Hala Hala (watch the official performance mv where they wear black masks), Say My Name, Answer, Inception, Guerrilla, Wonderland, Halazia, Bouncy, and Crazy Form. Treasure and Pirate King are their first two songs. If you're interested in dance at all there are their 4 early KQ Fellas performances to other artists like Cardi B. They're fun to watch even if you're not a kpop fan.
This is from their most recent album so I don't think they have any stage performances for this song yet! They did announce a world tour this year so who knows, maybe they will soon. 2:07 No they aren’t band new. ATEEZ has been out since Oct. of 2018 (5 years and counting). They debuted with 2 tracks “Pirate King” (primary title track) and “Treasure”. Putting out 2 tracks within weeks of each other has been something they’ve done from the beginning. Sometimes they even let us fans (called Atiny (pronounced like “destiny” because it’s literally a combination of ATEEZ + Destiny) vote for which of the 2 tracks will come out first and be the official title track for the album.
ATEEZ have a MASSIVE variety in styles of music. They’ve done almost everything except country (and they’ve joked about that). Their main genre is EDM Trap followed by a mix of Future Bass, Alternative R&B and Electropop.
They have pop songs like Aurora, Utopia, and Dreamers. There’s synth wave songs like Cyberpunk, WDIG and This World, there’s trap/hiphop songs like The Leaders (specifically look for the remix version too), Paradigm, The Ring, and Django, Jazzy songs like Take Me Home, a song with a gospel feel is Celebrate, ballads like Turbulence and Be With You, Afro/Latin beats with Arriba and Wave, rock songs like Rocky and Guerrilla, EDM with Horizon. Then they mix and match all of these different elements. There is something for everyone.

There are 8 total. 5 others born in ‘99 and their youngest is born in 2000.

For more insight into it here is some background for the lyrics that non fans probably won't understand:
Matz refers to Hongjoong and Seonghwa as the oldest member (98 born) in Korean Matz itself meaning 'oldest'.
When they say crazy and noisy is a reference to what people say that Ateez performances and their music are.
Seonghwa's line "But yes, oh my doctor said There's a lot of room left to grow" comes from the endoscopy wanteez episode. The Dr told Hwa that he has a large stomach but it also means that they are still hungry even with 5 years in and with all there accomplishments and they wanna grow more.
Hongjoong's line "If you want to put a GPS, put it on a suitcase, not on a carnival, You can be busy too" is a references too 2021 where they found GPS trackers on their Kia Carvial. After that line Hongjoong raps how they need to get a life or they can put GPS rather in their luggage cause they are always travelling around the world so it's useless to put them on their cars. You can see this in the beginning of the MV when someone puts a tracker on the van which is a Kia Carnival.
Hongjoong's line about "Numbers without sources don't mean a thing to me at all" this about a couple of months ago there were sasaeng "stalker" selling their personal information on line. So there phone numbers and even there flight info.

You will not be disappointed when it comes to Ateez. They do so many genres and are very high energy, especially in case of performance. React to more videos like Guerilla, Thanxx, Hala Hala, The Black Cat Nero, Halazia, and Fireworks. There's a lot more, but for now, that's a few. A live i would recommend would be their performance of Guerilla Live Anchor in Seoul. I'd have to search for the link though cuz they may be multiple videos. Also, i think it's Jan 10th that 3 other members are dropping another MV, called Its You. All the members have unit songs on their most recent album that dropped last month, so we are getting a few music videos. The first unit with the two members you just saw was MATZ (the eldest), and the next are the members (Wooyoung, San, and Yeosang) on their song "its you." Hope you check some of these out.

OHHHH MY GOD ATEEZ!!!! If you guys react to them again please react to EMERGENCY ! It's off the same album as MATZ but its with the full group! also i just wanna add some context to the lyrics in case you read them and might have been confused
the lyrics have lots of info that requires lots of prior knowledge that i feel like only huge fans will get right away, but some are more straightforward ex:
"Airport fashion delegated it to the brand little by little" can be speaking on their come up and their current ability to wear designer items when they originally had nothing
the pre-chorus calling them crazy and noisy is a reference to what lots of people criticize ateer's performances and their music especially when they just started.

Ateez are an 8 member group, these were the two oldest members, Seongwha and Hongjoong! Hongjoong is the captain of Ateez (they have a pirate concept so they say captain instead of leader), and he's the one you said had the faster flow, Seongwha, the oldest member of the group, was the one you said had the slower more rhythmic flow with the cool autotune switch ups.
I'd recommend checking out Bouncy, The Real, Hala Hala, Fireworks, Say My Name, or Thanxx by Ateez!
