As of now this doesn’t fully convince me yet HOWEVER I am not saying it’s impossible for this theory to be true. On a documentary called Quiet on set ,famous TV show producer named Dan Schneider was exposed for putting secret sexual message in his kids shows. Most people couldn’t tell if there was a sexual message behind the scene so it went overlooked for years. Knowing this is the same company that made the song cCookie by NewJeans does make me a little suspicious. I think we need to see more songs before we can point fingers just yet.

Yes, some points from the video are weak, and I included them with “controversy” indicators bc they are accepted by many ppl. What I’m trying to do is point out whatever ppl might not notice and allow for free interpretations and discussion. But still, I believe this mv has a pedophile intention. The most explicit sexual elements are the flowers (2:16) and the unicorn toy (4:16). Given the possibility of sexual implications, many shots and settings with ambiguous meanings could be explained better and they form a creepy story. Otherwise, it’s hardly possible for a carefully designed MV to have such a large amount of meaningless or misleading details, so I would say this is not a coincidence. Given the flowers and the unicorn toy, if you still don’t see anything weird, congratulations you are a well-protected kid. There’s nothing wrong with cute and girly stuff, but be aware of evil eyes staring at you from darkness.

I think you make good observations, but then the connection to the meaning you give them isn't really that strong. For instance you pointed the girls wearing white socks, playing in pajamas surrounded by pillows and acting like children. That is correct and I believe it's intentional, but I think jumping directly to "pedophilia" is kind of a stretch. A more simple explanation for me is that the goal is for the group to be perceived as cute and innocent, probably because the "girl crush" concept has been popular for a while and Hybe thinks they can sell more by doing something very different from it. The flowers maybe could look weird, like I can see it, but I wouldn't rule out it just being a coincidence. A lot of things can look "phalic" just because it's a relatively simple shape in nature. If you spend enough time searching for it, I'm pretty sure you can find those type of things almost anywhere. About the unicorn plushie, it just makes sense that since stuffed animals don't have real articulations, if someone dropped it, the toy would just fall limp in the ground as you can see it in the video. we need to pay more attention and be more cautious and careful because if we don't who will? 2 of them are minors and we need to protect them. make sure it doesn't happen again or that at least people are aware what is happening because even if you just simply watch, this mv does NOT look cutesy and simple and lighthearted. this looks predatory. and considering south korea's history, and kpop indistry's obsession with debuting young people, we really need to stop pretending this isn't real, when you damn well know it is possible, and even more it's likely to be true.

i interepted it as a bunch of girls becoming teenagers. at the start of it they start out metaphorically as child and the unicorn represents childhood, towards the end of the adventure they break out and become teenagers. the unicorn on the ground and them staring into the camera shows that they have grown up. the white surrounding at the end show that they no longer have that childlike imagination. though stereotypical, the song being about having a crush (in context of what i just said, possibly ur first crush) makes me believe that the mv is just about growing up and having ur first innocent crush.

I think you make good observations, but then the connection to the meaning you give them isn't really that strong. For instance you pointed the girls wearing white socks, playing in pajamas surrounded by pillows and acting like children. That is correct and I believe it's intentional, but I think jumping directly to "pedophilia" is kind of a stretch.
A more simple explanation for me is that the goal is for the group to be perceived as cute and innocent, probably because the "girl crush" concept has been popular for a while and Hybe thinks they can sell more by doing something very different from it.

I really think you should take time to ask yourself why would there be such undeniably sexual depictions and symbolism ? (flowers, unicorn plushie, hand gesture, etc.)

I know they're cute and all, but I find it weird how their concept unfolded or was presented. They looked like grade schoolers, and though it depends on how people perceive it, there are a lot of meanings, but it could be unsettling. The camera focusing on socks has a lot of symbolism, but it entails child innocence or childhood innocence being disturbed. There could be a lot of meanings, and they used a lot of metaphors in this MV with double meanings. Regardless of that, not related to the song, the K-pop industry has exploited young people, not just young, but quiet young. It's sort of weird how to address it, and the idea of it becomes so normalized
