Endometrial Hyperplasia | Pathology

In this video, we will discuss the pathology of Endometrial hyperplasia. Endometrial hyperplasia is characterized by exaggerated proliferation of endometrial lining.
Endometrial hyperplasia can be sub-classified as Endomerial hyperplasia without atypia ( less risk of progression to Endometrioid cancer) and Endomerial hyperplasia with atypia (more risk of progression to Endometrioid carcinoma).
The Endomerial hyperplasia is caused by an increase in estrogen to progesterone ratio, that favours the proliferation of endometrium.

Iam 21 year old I have endometrial hyperplasia and my endometrial lining is 22mm .. I have pcod and thyroid … I did biopsy .. after 12 days report came and it was normal it was just hormonal imbalance (Alhamdulillah).. when I did first ultrasound I was scared when doctor told me about endometrial hyperplasia I thought it was canc*r when I searched on internet but it was just harmone problem … nothing to worry about it … don’t google it too much it just gives us stress .. no solution .. be patient just pray and follow doctors recommendations not internet…
