Southeastern may be ordering new rolling stock to replace the remaining Networkers which would enter service in the late 2020s, however this is not yet confirmed which is why this has not been included in this video and many class 465 and class 466 are currently planned to remain in operation with Southeastern.
CAF, Hitachi, Alstom, Talgo, Stadler or other train manufacturers could manufacture new rolling stocks to replace the Class 465 and Class 466 Networkers. And Siemens could of continued on manufacturing more Class 707.
I hope they also order more High Speed trains so all High Speed services can be formed of 12 carriages and if they were bi mode they could go ahead with the plan for HS1 services to Hastings.
I really think Southeastern should do what SWR has done and completely replaces everything except the 375 and 395 as this would allow consistency between all Metro services as well as being easier to operate. This would also allow the 376 and 707 to be used on other routes such as restoring the more frequent services to Southern metro routes that the 376 would be great for as 5 carriage trains able to form 10 carriage services.
So many things wrong... • The two Class 377/1s sub-leased from Southern returned there during 2022, not 2023/2024 • Class 465/2s went to Ely/Worksop for storage during 2022, not 2021 • No Class 465/9s are in storage and none never were, though a few sets did visit Wabtec in Doncaster for corrosion repairs • Only 5 Class 466s are in storage (at Worksop)
I find that the Southeastern Electrostar have the best seats out of all the Electrostar trains even though they are some of the oldest Electrostar trains.
The Southeastern Class 375, Class 376 and Class 395 will not be replaced. But the Class 465 and Class 466 will be replaced with new rolling stocks. And the remaining Class 707 to be transferred from SWR when the Class 701 Arterios have entered service.
@@Andrewjg_89 no confirmed date, southeastern don’t want to give them away until they get the rest of the 707s, which SWR don’t want to give away until the 701s go into service
You can now use the first class seats with a standard ticket on all Southeastern trains as they have completely got rid of first class on all Southeastern services.

True.
What's the loudest class 375 horn?
Train 🚊 company SE - Southeastern runs near London.

Can you do GTR current and future again pls?
Nice video vt 390 but may I ask will the 376s go to southern since someone said that the 707s will replace the networkers and some class 376
Cool video mate 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

the new rolling stock is planned to replace all of southeasterns fleet other than the 395s
So that would include the Class 375 and Class 376 and to cascade them down to Southern. Ok sounds reasonable.
@@Andrewjg_89 keep in mind that by the time the new fleet arrive the 376s time will be up and the 375 will probably be right behind
Yeah indeed.
Actually the Class 377/1s went back to Southern Last year!
And the Class 377/5 to be transferred to Southern later this year. If that too was confirmed.
@@Andrewjg_89 no confirmed date, southeastern don’t want to give them away until they get the rest of the 707s, which SWR don’t want to give away until the 701s go into service
Yes, I know that too!

I actually think the first class seats in the 375 are less comfortable than the standard class seats.
