    Really wished Mississippi Burning win the Oscar. Was one of the toughest dramas ever made about racism in America

    Best film - Rain Man
    Best director - Barry Levinson
    Best actor - Dustin Hoffman
    Best actress - Jodie Foster

    People forget that Martin Landau was the favorite that year and Kevin Kline was a surprise. Nearly unthinkable in hindsight.

    The Oscars meant so much more back then. Just too much content everywhere now.
