03 with Joey Harrington was my first college football game, it was awesome. I loved how you could create a school and customize the colors, designs, size of stadium, and many more things. I totally miss that.

As a kid I was a big fan of Shaun Alexander (before seattle got cocky). I would always play as him in madden 07.

First college football game I ever played was actually NCAA 2k3 on the GameCube and the cover athlete was QB Eric Crouch from Nebraska

Might be worth noting that Heupel came in 2nd in the 2000 Heisman race but Heupel beat Weinke in the BCS Title game.

First, what I got was for the computer was '99. First console was 2004. My favorite so far 12 I still play that one
The first one I remember getting was NCAA 10 with Michael Crabtree on the cover for the XBOX 360, cause I think there was different athletes on the cover for each platform. Which I’m sure will be discussed in part 2, can’t wait.

My first experience was Eddie George on the cover of NCAA Game Breaker. The Chris Weinke cover had everybody in that game. All the guys from Miami, Ohio State, you had Big Ben, Byron Leftwich, Carson Palmer, and the list goes on. I spent like 4 days updating almost every major teams roster on there. It was sick!
NCAA/topspin was my first as well, great time to be alive.
I had that same copy of 2005 with Fitzgerald on the cover. I played that tennis game and that may be the only tennis game I ever played!

I’m not looking forward to EA slapping an NCAA paint job on current day Madden. I always enjoyed NCAA Football’s engine and physics more than that of Madden. Even in Madden’s best days, NCAA was my go to.

I think the first one I remember is actually Ricky Williams, but I certainly know I had one of the Bill Walsh games back in the day. When I came back to the game I was so excited at the prospect of playing as the local college football team, the Toledo Rockets.

What I liked about that was the games played like real a football game. Id establish a running game to set up play action and my passing game. Once my passing game was established, Id run screens and draws.
Madden was just about glitching the system. Although when playing Miami, Kellen Winslow Jr was impossible to stop. Some Miami players would just run the same play over and over. Those games werent fun.
The fun games were coming back to win after being down 21-0 at half. Or even losing in double OT thrillers.
