We just returned from our cruise on the MSC Seashore and have to get the house back in order & we finally spill the tea on why we moved into a new house. It's a story you probably weren't expecting!

I fully did NOT expect that! I honestly thought it was either a matter of good timing with a house you could own OR a realization that the old house was just a bit too small for your growing family....BUT THAT?!?!?! very glad the story has a happy ending and I hope all recover from all illnesses well.
Y'all should have called the city inspector. They would have condemned the house and uninhabitable because of the mold and rats. You could have withheld rent and put that in escrow until they fixed it. Glad you all were able to get out from your under your lease. Congratulations on closing on your house!🎉

Mold is scary. My friend moved into a basement-level apartment and it had that stale smell too. I remember sitting in her room going through her bags and my allergies were acting a fool. We found in the next few months all of her boxes had mold on them. Her cabinets had mold coming from them as did the wall. It was so bad!
We bought a new house with a basement. Had to get a dehumidifier because the high humidity causes moisture which causes mold.
OK, we used to always get the Cruise crud and my neighbor gave us this. It was actually a Covid recipe from our doctor. We got the crud this last time couple weeks ago and just knocked it out in a day.

Wow! I'm so sorry that all happened to your family with that house! I'm surprised you tolerated it for as long as you did. Old houses certainly have a charm about them, but ... But look, now you're in what looks like a beautiful place, and also looks brand new. So you shouldn't have to worry about anything like that!
We were on MSC Magnifica and the hand sanitizer machines outside of the main dining room did not have any sanitizer in them and me and my friend left our purses in our room without travel size in them. I dont remember them by the buffet either. We both got the Covid...maybe it was not from that but we will never know!
Wow! I must say you guys are totally amazing the way you handled that situation with the old house. I know you were angry, rightfully so, but you did all the right things to get the ending that your family deserved. Renting does suck alot of the time. Am I correct that you are buying this house that you're in now? It looks modern & beautiful & I hope you have many wonderful years there. I've been watching your adventures for quite a while now & really felt for you guys with this one. Mama Donna & your Dad are a great support system too. Alyssa, you're from PA originally, aren't you? What part? I live in South Central, an hour south of Harrisburg. But Florida does suit you all! Thanks for telling your story & being so honest about it.
I totally agree that they should’ve made people wash their hands before entering the buffet. Me and my mom both tested positive for Covid the day we got home from our cruise. Hope Griff gets better

Wow Alyssa& Cullen & Noah so sorry you had to go through all this 😮 brr the thought of the Rats what they bring with them ,smell but the mould OMG 😱, thats house needs stripped down totally re done ..( hope it wasn’t re - hired after you moved out 🫣) there are certainly plenty of landlords that want to make money ,but not invest in keeping the property safe environment for those living there 😡.So sorry that Cullen and Noa got so sick from the mould.

Omg, so glad you guys got out of that place. You should sue that landlord. That was so dangerous! I hope that landlord doesn’t wind up renting that house to someone else. Hey Alyssa. Everyone’s task after vacation; grocery shopping. Hope Griff feels better. Those wagons are life. So wait. You guys moved into a different house first that had rats 🐀 and omg mold throughout the whole house? Wow. Oh no. The most in Noa’s room? 🤦♀️. Sorry you guys went through that. Ppl are sick.

So glad the whole family is healthy and in a safer home than the last one. I HATE amateur landlords; they give good landlords a bad name. They did everything wrong except sending your deposit within a week.

First of all the food would have been at least $100 here in Santa Monica, Ca, and the gas here is $6.50 a gallon some stations more! Count your blessing’s. Love you guys
The cost of living is definitely different though. My brother lives in Cali and his expenses are higher but he also makes more to compensate for it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Mold is a terrible health hazard. Landlords just don't want to deal with these hazards, especially with a child's health in the balance. You have a lovely home. That sangria looks delicious.

I stopped the video at 21 minutes upset about this mold situation so that I can leave a comment. You guys should take that landlord to court for moving expenses, initial expenses to move in to a place they already knew had mold and get all of your security deposit back. Your child was in danger and how long did you request they attend to the situation?? Shameful. Thank God for the tiles that fell to give you the aha moment. I am really mad about sweet Noa being at risk. Furthermore, any person moving in after you guys I would make a point to let them know what happened so they can ensure the problem is fixed so no other family will have to go through this. I'm a real estate agent so this really gets my goat. OK once I went back to the video I see that you did get your security depo back but I feel like you deserve so much more because their intent was to deceive. To be honest I wouldn't take any fabrics (bedding, towels, cloth furniture from that old home as it could have mold spores. Sue them for new household goods!

Mold is no joke. Can’t imagine your little one and Griff was sick due to inhaling mold. Sorry you guys had to go through it, but glad you were able to get out of there.

Did you even watch our videos from MSC? lol Clearly you missed the parts where we talked about the food being good and the margarita we had was amazing! Also. Just because a bottle of wine is inexpensive, does not make the taste bad.
