Ambassador McFaul is a Great American and is Ukraina's greatest defender for years.
You make me proud to be a Ameri-krainian!
Putin, in attacking Ukraina made one fatal mistake. He forgot this truth about us:
"In every dog lives a Wolf...While in every Ukrainian lives a KOZAK!
    SLAVA UKRAINYI!
    HEROYAM SLAVA!!!

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov criticized the alliance’s understanding and use of a principle known as “indivisible security.” You would be forgiven for having never heard of that niche term that emerged from a conference in Helsinki in the 1970s (more on that later), but Lavrov does have a point. It comes down to contrasting interpretations of what this term means in Western capitals versus in Moscow.

Ford in July 1975 told the delegation of Americans from East European backgrounds that: The Helsinki documents involve political and moral commitments aimed at lessening tensions and opening further the lines of communication between peoples of East and West

Ukraine's NATO membership hasn't been on the table since 2008? Did you completely miss NATO's statement in Jun 2021? Article 69 of the Brussels Communique?? It said specifically that Ukraine will be admitted to NATO.

    Way to contradict yourself: 14:00
"The Russians are emphatic about writing everything down."
Suddenly, "By the way, we experienced some of this... when there was a casual, informal conversation between [Ru and USA] and they interpreted that to mean we had agreed to limits on military defense [...] we had to explain "we're not agreeing and until it's written and we all sign off on it.. Nothing is agreed until it's all agreed".

You are naive to a dangerous level, Michael. Your appeasement strategy with Putin is not affective. Putin needs to be confronted hard, it's the only language he understands to stop his predictable behavior. He is very predictable.
