It inspired many anime and manga in the current world, it became toriyama's career and legacy, it even inspired many things outside of anime and manga, being games, movies and even, a lot of shows in fiction
Akira Toriyama has to be one of the most influental artists of all time, his creation of characters and world building are a stuff of legend, that is why a lot of mangas were inspired by Dragon Ball and for that we are thankful RIP Akira
