Nope... check the bird and the leafs on trees on ultrawide picture for example (02: 10) ...s23 ultra have better details and True colors ... it depend it's not just about numbers on the optics (s23 ultra ...lol) or size of 0.5 or 0.9 of diameter ... for now i've make Some comparisons and s23 ultra always win, just sometimes you have to make a choice depending What you like or your moods about the picture (so you can work on it to, especially With the raw mode and not even a obligation) sometimes 14 pro have a little better work on details (but it's not optic, its an ia... so you can work on it to) ... like I said depending your wish, you can prefer one or the other but s23 have the better optical bloc, and no matter which one you choose, sometimes you Will prefer the picture of the other device... but for sur, s23 is always good or beautiful (often first) (check the red flower ...and the details to Again....) when 14 pro, 13 ultra, pixel 7 pro are often not the Best picture ... "every photo device is different" and its not about one or two numbers ... samsumg is not selling it x2 (look the specifiations) (1t versions is often selled at 1500, 16g make me Dream BUT A THE PHONE WITH IT IS LOWER THAN THE S23 WITH 12 (like the New Asus...slower at the end in every things than the s23 ultra (yes in games to apparently) (even with a better gpu to ...on working app) for now s23 is not the Phone with the longer battery lifetime... and im not their hero! Just a customer Who appreciate the price and the work on some xiaomi (like the poco f1)... and today this one on s23... and ive notice this times to That the s20 ultra or fe are selled 300/350 and 200 euros... a54 is a Good Middle Phone (whose becoming totally phones of high level...) you can even have better with s20 and with a price.... than even xiaomi can't do or even Dream of it... samsung have make some smart believers this year... only those one able to notice things sometimes at least ... 200 or 3 and the high level is on the pocket (yes its on the top 12 of the first place phones)
Another example... check leaf and ground at 02:36.... ground have more details on 13 ultra but the leaf are not "great" compare the s23, if you work on the picture and colors you can have for this picture a better one for the 13 ultra, but without it depend and...
it is interesting to compare the zoom of 5x and 10x
Samsung S23 ultra is more advanced and digitalize processor capturing "reality" and magnify the beauty of it.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra is more old school type, mature and commemorative on photography capturing "time" and preserve the presence of it.
xiaomi looks better. if the day is more or less the same, then in the twilight, Xiaomi wins where there is little light, xiaomi shows us more details! The macro is also an order of magnitude higher

untrawide and main camera on Xiaomi 13 have the same quality and temp when you switch them which is a good thing..
I own s23u and I don't have any feeling to change my mind and go for xiaomi right now. Xiaomi seem nice but we will see if any update change something. ✌️

So at 2:46 in the grass, I think that it's like they're reversed in video.
because it's always the Galaxy that's taking the picture from the right, and in that picture, it's the Xiaomi that's taking the picture from the left, and it's underexposed.

I am honestly very disappointed at the 13 Ultra. I was very excited about this phone and have been waiting for its global version to become available (I have more than 30 years of photography experience and prioritise camera quality over everything else, also I pocess many Leica lenses and know how good Leica lenses can be),
but to my eyes while Xiaomi photos seem consistently over exposed, Samsung is better with most of the images (dynamic range, colour, sharpness, white balance, exposure…), I particularly paid attention to the main camera photos as Xiaomi has a 1 inch type sensor, which is meant to give it a clear advantage.
I know Xiaomi/people are saying the Ultra 13 is more “natural”, what does that mean exactly? It’s a very vague concept and shouldn’t be used as an excuse. If that is about optical performance vs. computational processing then why so many things that have nothing to do with post processing seems worse in the photos. Wider dynamic range, sharpness from lens resolution, accurate colour reproduction…are NOT unnatural - they are the essential elements of a good photo.
so what other phone will u pick instead?
@jkpisces currently using a Samsung s21 ultra, waiting for the OnePlus Open (seems better than other folding phones) to launch and might get it to replace the old S21.
Xiaomi always looked soo overprocessed. The overly bright highlight makes the photo less dramatic. I would go for S23U for a more versatile and dramatic photo

S23 is capturing more natural colour and has batter blur according the situation of the clicking photo. Xiaomi is editing more to whitening colour. Overall these 2 smartphone is king of android world.

Tem gente q prefere a câmera da Samsung só pq acha mais viva a imagem. Só que não percebe que isso é HDR, artificial. Já o Xiaomi é totalmente natural e realista. Isso é novidade pro mercado. Tá lindo e incomparável a QUALIDADE. Mas aí cada pessoa prefere um estilo
Ou vc trocou as bolas ou tem problema de vista. Em grande parte das fotos o Xiaomi manda imagens ultra processadas com um tom amarelado que de natural não tem NADA. Em outras fotos puxa tanta luz que estoura o céu e não mostra detalhes.
Se testarem contra luz, a Xiaomi vai levar uma surra pelo pouco que esse vídeo mostrou. Xiaomi nunca soube fazer suas câmeras trabalharem e sempre lança software cagado. Nesse 13 ultra eu digo até que ela melhorou muito porque antes era bem pior.
Agora, de natural as fotos do Xiaomi tem muito pouco.

Se vc acha q tá puxado pra uma cor ou outra parabéns, mas o vídeo ficou nítido q é muito menos artificial que a Samsung. Não tô reclamando da Samsung, pq suas fotos sempre foram bonitas, porém SEMPRE foram artificiais. Se não concorda, fazer oq
@@luisfilipemorato6588 fato na sua cabeça. A Samsung gerava fotos mais saturadas (cores mais fortes), algo facilmente contornável por qualquer leigo. Só que isso diminuiu nos últimos anos a ponto dessa sua crítica estar pelo menos 2 gerações atrasada. Agora, vc claramente dá opinião baseado em intuição porque enxergar vc não enxerga. Porque qualquer um vê o tom amarelado da Xiaomi em vários exemplos. Se vc não acredita na imagem, não posso fazer nada.

é simples, os dois sao superprocessados, em alguns casos um mais que o outro, como por exemplo a foto do ceu que no xiomi tava nitido e natural, ja no s23 ultra estava com um filtro que tornou extremamente mais linda, mas é so um filtro, como também no xiaomi 13 ultra na foto das plantas fixou extremamente amarelaeo e saturado, os dois tem praticamente a mesma qualidade, mas em situações diferentes um é melhor e o outro é melhor, tudo depende da iluminação, de qualquer forma os dois sao extremamente potentes e belos, é uma diferença mínima que nem faz sentido discutir sobre

I have had both and 13 ultra is worst on ultrawide, but really better on the main sensor. and tele until x10 is marginally better than s23. zoom hybrid x10 on 13 ultra has better details than optical zoom on s23 ultra. On Selfies S23 destroys 13 ultra.

In video both bring very good quality but Xiaomi still needs to improve the quality of HDR, in photos the photos of the 13 are much more natural and sharp I found the level of detail it achieves even in low light to be very natural and the best with in contrast, many of these other smartphones like the apple one have an excessive yellowish or red color that looks awful. This no longer happens in the 13 ultra.
But I think s23 is capturing more natural colour
