Guys this WORKS!!! It really hurts at first but if feels good Bc it really breaks the scar tissue. I had been struggling with adhesions I was on a low diet and in and out of the ER due to obstructions. My intestines were almost completely blocked and CONSTANTLY was in pain and discomfort. I started doing the massages about 2 weeks ago and I am fully better. It’s honestly a miracle and I can’t thank you enough for posting this. If you are struggling with adhesions please give this a try.

I’ve had 3 surgeries for bowel obstructions. Many many adhesions. The last surgery was almost 4 hours of the doctor snipping through the adhesions. This started back in 1997 then 2007 and the last surgery 2017. Admitted in August 2021 and January 2022. No surgeries thank God.

I first watched this video several years ago, and never did this. Now as my pain has worsened, and after 2 laparoscopic procedures I finally find out that I have frozen pelvis, I am going to start this. I just ordered my ball and it will be here tomorrow. This is so helpful. I had a colostomy as a child then had it reversed. Fast forward 20 years later I had scar tissue that fused my bowels, uterus, fallopian tube, and parts of my colon together. I ended up losing one of my fallopian tubes because of it. But I had recently, 10years later, I had found it on trying to hurt and pull again. I went to a gastroenterologist and they told me to simply drink water and eat more high fiber, which was what I was already doing. I say all of that to say this, thank you for sharing this. I sometimes forget because I have just been living with for 30 plus years of my life and now I can do something to hope me. Thank you so much!

it was revolutionary to just have learned about this internal scar tissue growth :0 ive been blown away finding out about this cause ive had 6 open heart surgeries from two different locations and pacemaker surgery. my last open heart was at 16yrs old and then pacemaker replacement (no bone breaking) at 21yrs. and since those two surgeries ive had so much torso/thoracic tightness and pinching, i even expressed a visual of as if there was a little gremlin in there at the base of my spine cranking these various ropes that extend upwards throughout my torso and within the intercostals n everything. ugh, terrible uncomfortable and pinching feelings. i dont think i ever gave enough attention and even "greived' about these traumas, i just sorta let it happen and then moved on just dealing with my issues in a lazy way, i never even did physical therapy, oy vey. these internal-scarring videos are eye opening. i was watching Rodney Mullen videos and he mentioned something about his hip deteriorating and then it was scarring IN the joint and he had to break it up and eventually totally break it free so it was a normal ball-socket joint again, he said that internal scar tissue grows like weeds. i never really heard of this before, or at lease not expressed that way. amazing. i got a lotta work to do, but i feel good now knowing what the heck is going on.

For all those advocating SURGERY as the only resolution for scar/tissue adhesions in the abdominal area need to research how abdominal surgery actually promotes these adhesions!!! An appendectomy, hysterectomy, hernia repair, tubal ligation will all contribute to adhesions!!! Believe me, I know, i've had 3 out of 4 i've listed. This spring when I needed a colonoscopy it was hell for the Dr., his staff and me! Strictures everywhere from adhesions on top of adhesions everywhere. Surgery will only make this worse. I will be using the ball.

    IT DID HELPED ME!!
I had an abdominal surgery one and a half month back and 3 weeks after surgery I had excruciating pain and Dr found out I have a scar tissue and angled intestine now. They put me on (kind of) liquid diet but I kept getting 2-3 painful cramps almost every hour. I had to take Tylenol and sometimes even Oxycodone to manage the pain. However, after doing this exercise for the first time, I had no pain/cramps for almost 12 hrs.
Although cramps came back the next day but they were not as painful and I did not have to take any pain medication. I am supposed to go for a procedure because of the angled intestine but I would definitely say that people having pain/cramps due to Scar tissue should give it a try.
Thank you so much Jill Miller!!!

I am seeing a Physical Therapist who has attempted manual manipulation twice externally and internally via the vagina. I actually can feel a slight difference with the therapy but would like to continue on the days l don't see her.

Hi, nice to see someone with similar issues. I have endometriosis and ended up with peritonitis because of it. Have a vertical scar through my bellybutton. I have been offered laparoscopic surgery but warned that it could make the situation worse with regrowth of tissue, perforation of the bowel and I run a high risk of infection. Been looking for alternatives and this seems like it has potential. Thing is....I'm in Scotland so your Amazon link doesn't work for me. What type and size is the ball please so I may get something similar here.

I have the same problem. Now almost 7 years after the procedure. For couple years, the scar tissues underneath the layers of the skin on my abdomen felt numb. The numbness is no longer that bothersome but it feels tight sometimes. In mid-June 2016, I went back to doing some exercise, after not being active in fitness for couple years, I then experienced pain in my mid-core section, I thought it was just muscle stitch. Couple weeks after the pain became spasmodic. To a point that one night I had to call an ambulance. I had mixed worries but all results were negative, liver, gallstones etc.
So now I am too scared to do exercise and use my core muscles. Every day it bugs me mentally. I get anxiety when I feel my core tightening. Regretting the procedure, fears, etc. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this video! I have new hopes to feel better in my very deep core.

    • @debraarnold3703
      @debraarnold3703 2 года назад

Adhesions refers to the bands of fibers that form after surgery or trauma, in the abdominal cavity. The bands can wrap around the bowel and other organs, causing pain, infertility, or bowel obstruction. This can occur after abdominal surgery to the abdominal cavity, such as gall bladder, hysterectomy, bowel surgery, other laparoscopic abdominal surgeries. Adhesions are essentially scar tissue, or bands, that grow over time, internally. This technique with the ball could break up internal adhesions and external surgical scarring. External scarring can result in scar tissue around the incision, and may or may not cause internal adhesions.

I do this all the time at night with balling up my comforter and laying flat on my belly, which helped with the pain but sometimes something would push back and cause this really odd pain I dont know what it is but I've done an upper G.I. thinking it was an ulcer but found out about adhesions, and I have a big scar by my belly button from appendicitis that ruptured and I didnt get seen for 3 days so it went septic. But my doctor doesnt seem to care that this has been debilitating me for years now, and shes the one who mentioned she thought it was from adhesions....and every month or so I get really sick throwing up from temporary blockage and after like 4 or 5 days of throwing up and hardly eating my stomach goes back to regular pain where I'm not nauseous 24/7. I feel trapped by this issue and noone or way to get the help I need and it's getting to the point I cant take it anymore and my doctor never says like theres anyway to fix the issue and does absolutely nothing for me no matter how much I stress how bad it is.

Hi there! I am just recovering from a tummy tuck scar revision and lipo to the stomach. I have bands of hard tissue (this is only day 3 post-op), or hard lumps pretty much on each side of my stomach, under breasts. I just had my post op evaluation today and the dr. Reassured me that this is scar tissue that will eventually ‘leave’. However, I am soooo nervous b/c I had this out of country (I’m Canadian and had this in Houston this week)). When I return home in a few days, I will make sure to get lymph massages, but boy...this is like thick rope underneath the skin and it is kind of making me worry. -His screcxretary also said I could look into Thermal radio frequency too, but right now, I’m just trying to take one day at a time and I am so hoping that the doctor is right in that it will heal on its own . -I will do self-massage as well, but anything you may have to add to this conversation, please do! I can’t lay on the ball b/c of the tuck, but I certainly can roll a ball on those cords. Ty!

I'm 18 months post op & only 6 months out from my revision. They removed scar tissue that was super bothering under my tuck scar. The tissue has grown back above my scar and now looks like a belly bulge. Continue to massage and stay in a very compressed garment.

@moneylinemaven the exercises do help. I'm 14 months post revision & feel better. The sensitivity is still somewhat there & if I spend too much time on my feet without compression, my belly definitely bulges more than usual. I have to mention, though, my results look much better now than they did at say 6 months post op. Everything seems in place, if that makes sense.

This is a great question. Also - what the heck does this ball rolling women really knownabout the condition of the organs of the person she is suggesting the “ball rolling” to. I am not a physician, not I have suffered greatly with endometriosis and adhesions that are extremely painful and debilitating. I exercise regularly, stretch, get plenty of rest and have a very healthy diet.
This pregnant woman showing someone how to roll on a ball for relief of what could possibly due to or might worsen a serious medical situation is irresponsible.

Does anyone feel a burning sensation with their scar tissue/adhesions? I have had 2 surgeries in the past 3 years. After the 2nd surgery the doctor told me i had adhesions. I did not start feeling pain until this past year. I was wondering why and even had MRI done and they found nothing (adhesions do not present on scans). But if i can avoid all the running around to different doctors that would save me a great deal of headache and heartache and cost. This video gave me hope. Thank you for sharing!

Let me know how you get on. I get that burning sensation on my scar too I have a midline scar on tummy like it’s tight and being pulled in certain movements. They really need to find a way to detect adhesions by a scan and ways to get rid of them without surgery.
