I lovvvve that you said "Willy Nilly" !. I say that all the time to my kids 😅
Can't wait to try this! I've been wanting to step out of my comfort zone and try something new...this is it! 🙌
Hahaha, I wonder where who I heard it from first lol
This is super rad, thanks Janelle!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Jenell, hope you & Cody are both OK. Thankyou so much for this video tutorial on Couching, I like these ideas wouldn't have thought about weaving a plain background & doing these patterns.
Thankyou again for giving alternatives to weaving structures.
Keep smiling, keep weaving, keep safe & well.
Lots of love Jen xxxx
You’re welcome, glad you enjoyed it!
Love your tutorials 😀
Thank you so much!
If using a permanent marker on your woven fabric is too stressful 😳 you could use a water-soluble sewing marking pen, like Dritz.
Lol it’s true, this was just a sample so it was no big deal!
You could also use a sewers marker to draw on it. If you mess up and need to remove the mark, it will come right off with a little water or damp rag.
Great video, thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Mind blown!!!🤯
Haha, I love it! Such a fun technique.
Hi Jenell …great video…I was wondering what weaving pattern is on the loom that you stitched on…I’m learning…thanks
Thank you! It’s just plain weave (tabby) 😊
Do you have a tip on how to not have your warp thread not to loosen on the sides after you’ve taken it off the loom? Am a novice weaver.
Thanks
Hey Janelle! Is this technique good for making outlines? I’ve made this weaving piece that has two very similar colors, so I’d like to make them more noticeable. Thanks!
I think you could, yes, you just want to make sure you have a fully woven background you can stitch into.
I've been seeing a knotting technique that's very chunky and where exposed thick rope is bluntly cut. Would you happen to know what this technique is? Do you have tut for it already? TIA.
I do have a knitting tutorial: ruclips.net/video/qJN3qQK606k/видео.html
But I think what you’re talking about is probably just a regular knot and the ends trimmed short.
@@spruceandlinen yes it is just regular knot. I thought it was something fancier. Lol.
