Dear Misses, I was around your ages when my mom broke the news to me that there wasn't anything more to be done for her but to move her into hospice. I wept horribly. But she assured me, it was ok to weep now, so tomorrow I would be strong. And I was. And the two of you will be, too. Cling to your Lord, as I know you will, and your loved ones. Praying for Miss CIndy and you all.

Hi girls, I worked hospice. It is a very fulfilling job, although it wasn't a job to me. Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers. I know it's hard to watch but God is by your side. It's just time for Miss Cindy to go home. Talk to her, tell her how you feel about her. Although she might seem to be sleeping, she can still hear you. Draw your strength from the Lord. I love y'all.

There is something so humbling and beautiful when a life enters the world and even when a life returns to Jesus. Hospice is a great comfort for so many, I am glad you guys are having the expected experience from hospice. Prayers for you all.

Hello Girls. I'm so sorry for your grief. I want to share something with you that I learned when my dad passed 5 years ago from prostate cancer. My dad was a pastor..we are born again believers. He suffered a lot. He was 83, I was his girl...still am at 67. Like you, we turned to Hospice also, and what a blessing. They gave us a booklet called "Crossing the Creek" which was so, so helpful in knowing what to expect every step of the way. The morning my dad passed, my son, my sister, and her daughter were with me at my dad's bedside. We knew passing was imminent. Like you, we knew where our dad was going and he was about to be transformed. We had our Bible and were reading..." To be absent from this body is to be present with Christ". All of a sudden our faith released and we got so excited for what was about to happen to him. We knew there had to be angels in the room waiting to transport him! We knew he was about to receive what he had worked for over 50 years. He was about to meet Jesus face to face! We were so focused on dad and what was happening for him! Crossing the Creek said a lot of times they open their eyes one last time right before the end. That happened, we said "hello" and grabbed the Bible to re-read that scripture and he was gone. I knew sometimes the spirit looks back and I lifted up my face and said a joyous goodbye to my dad. I was so happy I was shouting to my family... He's before Christ! He's before Christ! He's healed! He's healed! Joy broke out in the room! Laughter of joy!! We knew the angels had been there to revive dad. I never in my life that would be my reaction to my dad passing, but it was so beautiful! We rejoiced for hours. I know people thought we were crazy, but we knew what had happened to him and where he was. What I learned, focus on what Miss Cindy is about to receive. No more tears, no pain, just joy and gladness for her the rest of eternity. There's time to grieve later. Take time to rejoice. It made all the difference for us. It's been 5 years and still rejoicing. I don't really grieve, I miss him, I'm sad sometimes, but mostly I rejoice for him. Every day after that, we're one day closer to seeing them again. Praying for your family. Look forward to hearing you rejoice!❤

The crazy thing is I had never thought of it like that I wish when I lost my momma in 98 someone would have been able to explain it that way . I'm now 59 and still been grieving for my loss and not seeing it the way you have explained it here . I truly believe this will help so many that read this I think this will bring so much comfort to Miss Cindy and the whole precious family.

My heart goes out to y’all. I am 57 years and was born in dyersburg Tennessee. My momma moved us to California when I was young but my heart will always belong to Tennessee. I am a born again believer in my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. I lost my momma in 2019 she severed dementia for about 10yrs. She was my best friend. She helped with my 3 daughter’s. Two of which were born with muscular dystrophy. I was missing her so much and I don’t know why but your video came across my RUclips about southern saying. In the mist of my tears I began to laugh and remember my momma saying all those things after 12 years of dementia y’all reminded me of my momma before she was sick. I am praying for you all and wrappen my arms around y’all so tight. Ms Cindy (which is also my oldest daughters name) will soon be looking upon our Saviors face and every tear will be wiped away. How joyous that will be for her. The sadness is ours to bare but as you said it is but a flash a moment and there we will be as they turn and say O there you are. Thank you and your momma for giving me a gift when I needed it the most. Praying for y’all

Sweet girls, I know what you are going through. My Dad was diagnosed with cancer and passed away at the age of 70 in less than a month . It really rocked my world. I was praying and had so many others praying for him at that time. At first I thought that our prayers were unanswered, but I realized that God’s mercy was evident in how quickly he left us.
That was many years ago. In fact, I am now close to that age. I realize that his life was shorter than I would have liked, but in Psalm 139 it says that all of our days are decided before we take our first breath. That has always been comforting to me because at first there were so many thoughts like, “if only they had found the cancer sooner.”
God bless you and your family 🤗

My granny went from cooking meals to bed ridden in a flash due to an aneurism. They drained the fluid from her brain enough that we got to talk to her, we had medical options for treatment, but she just said “take me home”. So we all had our chances to talk to her and tell her how much we loved her. We took her home, hospice came in and walked her last two weeks with us. They were such a blessing. Granny went peacefully in her bed with her windows opening and the birds singing. It was what she wanted. It was hard on us but I am so thankful for the peace. I’ll be praying for your family.

Oh girls 😢 It’s ok to cry. Hospice is so great at helping loved ones have dignity in their end of life. My brother passed on hospice in 2019 at the age of 64. Be with her and talk with her, she can hear you. My heart breaks for your family. 🙏🏻♥️

I’ve been involved with passings with the help of hospice, and they are such a help and support.
My husband died of pancreatic cancer. He held on for 5 months so he could see our daughter graduate from college. He had to watch online from the hospital but he then just passed a few hours later. He had said his goodbyes and saw what he needed to see. We didn’t even get back in time but he was at peace.
A quick peaceful death with your loved ones around is a blessing.

I can tell by your facial expressions and body language that this is terribly painful for you. I lost my dear sister at the end of March to COPD and lung cancer, and it went terribly fast. I’m still grieving badly. I’m so sorry for all of you. I know how much it hurts. Praying for peace for all of you. ❤️

Good thoughts and prayer coming your way during these difficult times. We are so thankful for the hospice care we received during our handicapped daughter’s passing three years ago this month. She was born with Down Syndrome, with a serious heart defect and was not expected to come home alive. She had open heart surgery when she was three, and went on to make great strides, and with special education even finished high school. She lived with us for her entire life. During her last year or so, she developed dementia. Hospice care did so much for her and us during the brief time before she past away. . Please know you and your family are in our thoughts during this time! ❤❤

For lack of better words, Psalms 91 became so real to me when my father passed. My daughter & I also had a "feather" experience too! Your words were so comforting to me today! I love how you all love Jesus. I am so thankful for the testimony in your lives! Praying for Ms. Cindy & you all.

When the Lord calls Miss Cindy home, I know you will miss her. My mom passed 4 years ago, and I miss her daily. According to my mom’s testimony, I know exactly where she is. Take comfort when Miss Cindy is gone, she will be rejoicing with the angels in the presence of God, and you will see her again someday.

It won't be immediate but I will send you the link when I know what Sunday the mass will be said. Keeping Miss Cindy and the family in my prayers.

Your grandma must have been a wonderful woman and so blessed to be her age and have beautiful grandchildren standing outside crying for her. I think that’s every woman’s dream. To be a grandmother and have them all around you when you go home for good. May God give you peace. Xo

Katie you always manage to make me giggle (or often laugh to tears), even in such a sad time. Praying fervently for Miss Cindy and for y'all. How blessed we are when somebody's sad to see us go, truly. It is temporary, as you know and said, but it hurts. We lift you up in prayer and please tell Miss Cindy THANK YOU, from the people who admire her family so, the son she raised who cultivates such a family and girls as profoundly good as y'all are. Much love to you all.💞

She passed many years ago but she never fails to send us feathers just when we need a touch of faith. As I left the hospital tonight and pulled in my driveway I found two feathers on my welcome mat. Much love girls. There’s nothing more precious than the live you hold in your hearts.

We found out with hospice that when you think they can’t hear you at the end, they can! We told my mom we love her and much more and then ……told her it was ok to let go and fly into the arms of Jesus. She did and it was so incredibly peaceful. We then each spent out own alone time with her and it is such a precious memory. God be with you and hold you so tight.
