- Random additional pickups video from todays trip to Halesowen in Dudley. I went to the amazing stores there including Hidden Chest Gaming, Old Skool Gaming and Vintage Gamer.
I added a lot of Mega drive to the collection as well as a very nice NES title. I also got another title in the Game sale (I've two videos to edit with the rest of my sale pickups and they should be out soon).
The best value pick up by far though has to be 10 Amiibos for just £30!

Seems you did well with that Amiibo find, I went quite deep down that hole and had loads new in box but ended up selling them as it was getting out of control and took up too much space. Great round there for game shops👍

It really is the retro collecting Mecca down there, great shops ran by great people.

Great buys there Jim, not sure if you are aware but Nintendo now have like 99% of the amibos back in stock (including the zelda ones) well at least they did a few weeks back so no need to use scalpers
Cool, I'll have a look, I don't want to get into them too much but I would like some of the Pokemon ones and possibly some Zelda ones, although I think there are like 25+ Zelda ones now!

@@thecartoonguy7546 vintage gamer is one of my favourite shops, it's a 200 mile round trip for me so I only do it once or twice a year but it's always a good day out

Luckily the amiboo bug never bit me but I think I have four as there were some characters which I wanted as figures. DS9 goes for how much now?!?! I remember as a kid seeing it in my local second hand game store and never picking it up 😂
Amiibo collecting is something I know I could definitely fall for but some of the prices are mad. Yeah DS9 is one that has gone up a bit, wish I knew back in the day what I know now, I'd have stocked up on some of these crazy priced titles.

9 quid for mario? Bargain!!!
Yeah they're having another round of clearances, not as good as the last one but I think Metroid Dread and Strikers are £9, Mario and Sonic at the Olympics is £1 and God of War is 10p. So far found the Strikers but only 1 copy, if I find more I'll let you know :)
