It's funny how these animated films only have a budget of $3-4 million and one group of writers write 3-4 of them a year, but they end up being way better than a live action film that cost $200 million and took 3 years to make. Tbf to the 2012 GL movie: focusing on the love triangle was a thing that was done a lot in the Silver Age GL comics. While it’s not where I would prefer a Lantern story to go, it has merit being what it is
Green Lantern is essentially Lord of the Rings in space, I know Star Wars is a more appropriate comparison. But, it always felt closer to LOTR. LOTR trilogy seemlessly blends spectacle with intimacy. Green Lantern needs to do that, you have all of space, this grandeur, this lore combined with a story of a brave, brave man. People coming together to fight fear, both literally and metaphorically.
Today I didn't learn why this video is named "the rise and fall" when none of the second two animated movies indicate a fall from the quality of the first one. (I did like the video; I just don't understand the title choice.)
You don't really need mental training to use a Green Lantern ring. Just willpower and imagination. What you imagine is. Flight and energy blasts are relatively simple concepts. The constructs are where things start getting more complex. In fact, that's the reason Jon Stewart was so limited. He was an army engineer, and was a super logical person, and was therefore less creative.

3-green lantern first flight
Being sincere watching the Animated Movies helped me get the Rebirth Saga and Blackest Night
Tbf to the 2012 GL movie: focusing on the love triangle was a thing that was done a lot in the Silver Age GL comics. While it’s not where I would prefer a Lantern story to go, it has merit being what it is
Green lantern (Hal Jordan) and Flash (Barry Allen) Will Always be My favorite bromance.
Ok, but real talk: best green lantern in the dcau
Yes now if only we could see it in live action using the lessons from these
*drum* something *drum* something *drum* something changing your miind
Green Lantern is essentially Lord of the Rings in space, I know Star Wars is a more appropriate comparison. But, it always felt closer to LOTR.
LOTR trilogy seemlessly blends spectacle with intimacy. Green Lantern needs to do that, you have all of space, this grandeur, this lore combined with a story of a brave, brave man. People coming together to fight fear, both literally and metaphorically.
Maybe Hal was refering to the taser and having a strong moral
I'll have you know that porn without nudity is its own genre.
Green lantern emeral knight is a sequel to first flight, the events of the movie takes place before sinestro became evil
0:06 For a person who watched _Green Lantern: The Animated Series_ this is nothing new.
A green lantern anthology series would be cool

Its a problem when every movie has to
Regurgitate an origin story.
Been loving your videos dude!
Aziz Hassan Need go the Royal Mail❤
i know this is about the movies but just a reminder the John Stewart GL in JL and JLU is awesome.
Today I didn't learn why this video is named "the rise and fall" when none of the second two animated movies indicate a fall from the quality of the first one. (I did like the video; I just don't understand the title choice.)
2:40 you could say the same argument for ben 10 so I wouldn’t say that’s a valid argument
Thanks again
All the hamburgers Hal.
Tell me you haven't read a single gl issue without telling me. John's constructs are in fact the most detailed because he was an architect
Would love to see you do a video about the Green Lantern animated series
