- Welcome to Frontier Adventure - The Ultimate Wild West Theme Park! During this series of Let's Play Planet Coaster I'll be building a large wild west themed park featuring a variety of different attractions. I love that you’re making a park inspired by silver dollar city! That’s my childhood park that I’ve been to a hundred times and I’m happy to see it influencing and inspiring a full planet coaster build!

Disney parks, phantasialand,Europa park and efteling all quiver in fear against the theming here

To pay credit to American adventure you should make a Wild West shootout arena with animatronics with guns and a lazy Lills saloon type of show at the end

You gotta have a mine train coaster and a log flume interaction in this park, it should be a standard for any wild west park lol

Oh, this is gonna be a great one. I'm thinking maybe a mine train, a log flume similar to Splash Mountain, a wooden coaster and maybe even a western styled ghost train. Maybe an indoor wild mouse coaster themed to a gold mine?

I love how you mentioned sundown Adventureland its my home park and I went there from the age of 3- my age it’s such an underrated park and I love it 😁
Hi shawn, loving the new park, the entrance is amazing. An idea for a show arena could be a large fenced off area with some farm buildings at the back, the show could be about cowboy stunt men, I think in the studios pack there was some cowboy stuntmen that would be really useful. It could be called ‘Ranch Rodeo’ or something along those lines. Excited to see the rest of the series!

After this series of Planet Coaster, I think you should do something in Planet Zoo. I was thinking of a Zoo that uses old building styles with modern buildings or extensions to house some animals. Hope you do this or something similar.

Great job the entrance looks really cool! I have some coaster ideas if you need any inspiration:
Dueling Coasters themed to two different western towns fighting against eachover.
A launched coaster themed to a dynamite explosion (launch represents explosion)
Or just the simple cowboys vs Indians dueling coaster
I don’t know if you’ve already planned out the whole park, but I had a few good ideas for some areas. The first area is a cattle ranch, the second area is a mining town, and the third area is an abandoned area kind of like a ghost town. I also think Rattle Snake Valley would be a good name for a themed area.

You need to build a space themed park because you could make separate areas and there is loads of ride variety that you could use

Suggestion: for one of the shows, you could maybe make some sort of outdoor Arena with a storyline about a battle between 2 or more of the towns (good vs evil sorta thing) with special effects (you could use the display sequencer to program a proper show) and a detailed storyline (sort of like Raveleijn but with a Wild West theme)

You need to add a flat ride and put theming around to make it look like a party or a dance. That would add to the celebration look
Future name for the Gerstlaur Eurofighter: Will's Wacky Wagon
Storyline: Join grandpa Will on his journey to deliver money to the nearby happy houses. Grandpa's steering isn't the best and you have lost control it is now speeding off into the distance. It is your task to help him re-gain control of the wagon.
Catchphrase: FLASH! BASH! DELIVER THAT CASH!

I loved The American Adventure... I worked there in my early 20s I was a cowboy in the shows... It was a great place to work and the team were amazing folk... Love your vids... I have a feeling they are gonna keep me company during lockdown...

Name: Foggy Lantern Blues - a log flume themed around a foggy night and another good name: Pickaxe - family coaster themed around gold mine. A stagecoach robbery ride would be cool to.

So looking forward to this series. Our family managed to get together last summer for a Wild West themed fancy-dress party (we were not locked down and it was socially-distanced). We camped in my sister's horses field and had a campfire etc. My kids have noticed you have spelled Sheriff differently on your signs. Looking forward to watching every Wednesday. Thanks Shawn.

My idea: the next park may be a sci-fi themed park, like this was for western, and the next again could be medieval themed, and again, adventure, piratish, so you may create a chain of parks around the world... I've done it yet with other parks.
Saw the teaser on Instagram and couldn't wait.
This is awesome, I think a CCI Woodie would go great in this park or maybe a Mack spinning coaster.

Awesome that you're back on it straight away, looking forward to seeing how this pans out. Something you mentioned got me thinking - you said that there might be different towns with rivalries and so on and I wondered if there's ever been a park in real life that does something like that at all, it'd be incredible if there was some kind of dynamic way that things could change depending on different circumstances. The only thing I can think of is at the student union bar there used to be an event where the drinks would change price like a stock market throughout the night but in terms of a theme park I can't really think of much except that it'd be cool and make revisits more appealing. Maybe something like one of the towns getting hitting a big vein of gold resulted in it becoming more prosperous than it was before, to the detriment of one of the others... would be cool if there was an evolving storyline like that at a park.
I’d love to see a real park like that!
COASTER IDEA: Have an inversion going on the inside of a big rock arch. Then maybe go back over the top? (Love your content can't wait to see how it turns out)

OMG I started watching this channel about a week ago and since then I have binged Christmas wonderland on the channel. I already have a name and a story line for that train. The name could be The Jim Perry Scandal Train. The storyline behind that is "Jim Perry was a vandal in the frontier city and he took this train to a city where all crime was approved. Jim Perry got away and nobody ever saw this man again." I hope my ideas were helpful or fun. Thank you so much for all your videos and have a great year and hopefully we can go places again soon!!!

You will have to do a mine train coaster since this is a wild west theme and almost every frontier/wild west sections have a mine train coaster.
Name for the train: Rock Ridge Express. I came up with the name to pay homage to Blazing Saddles

This brand new park is everything I wanted American Adventure to be before it closed. I've not seen anything onsite at American Adventure so hopefully both that and Camelot gets its sites bought out by a theme park group

This is inspiring me to make my own Wild West park! An idea for an area is maybe near to the back have a very sad, high crime rate place with abandoned buildings and a rundown sheriffs office! Then, maybe nearer to the entrance and out lands type place! Oh, and definitely an extreme spinning coaster.

I had an idea for a western/horror themed show that also has both the Western Story going on just after the Civil War and then a story set in the present solving a big mystery that now haunts a modern major city on the opposite side of the mountains from the (abandoned in the present) village of Corn River.
There are idea going on with referencing, parodying, or otherwise poking fun at the Western Genre throughout
Would of been really funny if there was a ride themed to back to the future 3 🤣
Shawn you should build a log flume and call it Cobra Cove (you heard it here first) and I reckon coaster 2 will be a RMC because the feel to it will fit the park very well
