Short inspiration for gaff nerds, today's topic: Sailing from the quay. Some heavy winds were waiting, so we put in two reefs in the mainsail before leaving. No use of auxiliary propulsion. Remember, time is always your best friend when maneuvering under sail.

Easy to set those jib sheets up so the block is on deck and not flailing around dangerously.
