I read a short story very similar, the O mouth, thick atmospehere and finally, a magnfying glass to find the landed alien ship. Brilliant idea, still valid and as novel today.
Great story, when you think from before I was born but still entertaining today. Beautifully performed too!
These were way before my time... but I love them... great stuff... thank you for posting these great stories.
There's a story in the 'hitchhikers guide to the galaxy' were a alien galactic force attempt to attack earth but due to a mistake in size they are all eaten by a little dog !! 😂

A transmission coming from out past Sagittarius? Wow!
Oh nooooooo! Poor little guys!
I know! Even though I know it's just a story and they aren't real, it's heartbreaking!

Douglas Addams wrote a quick little paragraph about an invading alien life form that had entered Earth's atmosphere and had a powerful weapon that could destroy the planet but it was saved when a dog yawned and swallowed the entire ship!😆

I'm wondering what The (New York) Times had done to offend the author.
