Im 76 yrs old & vividly remember these radio serials from my childhood,i continued listening to reruns on my local AM station in Detroit & was crushed when they aired the final vintage radio serial from Lights Out the same night CBS Mystery Theater ended ,if people here aren't aware CBS Mystery Theater is in the top 5 radio programs of all time, not as good as X Minus One but still a very diverse mystery program, thank you for your hard work bringing this channel to us old folks who grew up as wide eyed kids listening a decade before TV became bigger than radio .

I don't think they did any Arthur C Clarke adaptations.
Too bad b/c he was a master story-teller.

does anyone else see a kind of rascism / human superiority here that is strangely of its time? they are presented with intelligent life, yet are looking for humans - kinda can't see the forest for the trees. I don't know what the author inteded though...

usually this is ironic b/c the alien species are often superior to humans in some way

The last couple lines of dialog tells me this is an anti-racism/anti-prejudice story:
"They've never found us", because other races are staying the hell away for a reason, just like the beings on that planet.
