6 month update of Red jungle fowl stags - saib qaib dib qaib qus 6 hli zoo li cas lawm

Here’s an update on my two red jungle fowl stag rooster at 6 months old. The older one with crown just starting to crow a bit, soon they’ll be doing their duties and protecting the flock.
I have separated the hens and do not have them pictured in this video because the older roost here is a bit aggressive to them.
Disclaimer: this is my first time caring and breeding these type of gamefowl chickens. I have no prior knowledge and experience on these type of chickens, I only know that in my Hmong culture and tradition these are highly sought birds for traditional uses and for many other purposes in my community. But with little to no knowledge and experience I somehow was able to single handily harbor them and get them through the cold winter negative subzero temperatures we experienced in the upper Midwest of 2025. Straw or hay would be great for nesting. Pretty birds.

@@horseygurl143 yes I plan to add some straw for bedding. This is a temporary cage for these two beautiful stags until the outside weather is warmer. Thanks for the suggestion.
