I was looking for another review on this DCS367 and not only did you highlight what I wanted to know, but the added info about DeWalt model numbers and differences in XR vs Flex and why brushless is better were all things I've wondered about, so thanks!
Ive got this saw plus the smaller atomic . Both excellent . The 367 does vibrate a fair amount . The atomic is the perfect single hand saw . Was gonna byy the 382 but happy with these 2 .
Does this saw have a switch to change from orbital to straight cut? My Dewalt DCS380 only does orbital cut which makes it difficult to cut metal. I want to stay with Dewalt if possible to get Sawzall that is straight cut capable.
Kim, This saw does not have a switch to go from orbital to straight. The stroke is straight as far as I can tell. I haven’t had an issue cutting metal, wood or plastic. -Steve
They are a close toss up when using the Flexvolt battery in the Flexvolt Advantage vs the Compact model. I would say the Flexvolt Advantage has a bit more torque since that is running off the 60 volts.
I can't imagine a situation where this saw would work and a standard recip wouldn't. Any task you dream up that a standard recip couldn't do, but this one can, would be easier and simpler with a circular saw or oscillating saw.
Really? I want to see you hold something with one hand and cut with the other hand using a standard reciprocating saw. I think your trolling or maybe a genuine Bad Ass or perhaps both !!!

Sawzall is a Milwaukee trademark. Just saying.
true that

Those 2 tools would be good options for any occasion.
I got the Atomic 1-handed saw and half the job-site wanted to hold it. Works well.
Justin, I’d like to get my hands on one too to try it out. -Steve

How it compares to flexvolt advantage version in terms of power, speed and vibration when paired with same flexvolt battery?

I don’t use Dewalt, but I find your videos are very informative regardless of the brand.
