  • In this video i take a closer look at the no edge blending tape from JTAPE.
Its a great product which is really easy to use!
In the video I also use the new masking tape from JTAPE which again is a really good product. both of which I will carry on using.
Video contains products and/or logos from jtape.com methods are of my own and will not be liable for any damages caused. Any music on this channel is copy right free and are from www.bensound.com or machinimasound.com/ Kevin Mcleod

Hmm. The cost of all that extra material j tape and the time to over mask it plus Polish after there's no way it works out to be more affordable then just clearing the whole panel probably another $3 in clear coat . I mean cool idea I guess

Hi, this is more of a demo to show it can be done rather than do it in the real world. Smart repair guys use the same methods but on different jobs or you may want to go off the edge of a door ect. Thanks🙂

Sometimes clearing the entire panel is not an option or cost prohibitive in other labor. An example of this would be performing a repair on the side of a truck where the back and side of the cab are basically one continuous panel. If I'm going to clear the entire panel in this instance, I have to remove the truck bed to access the rear of the cab.

Wow I see how great that Jay tape is. I know they have backup sensor masking covers I didn't know they had this. Thanks for the information Jordan. How do I get the video on you painting the lacquer? Thanks for a great video and take care.

Hi is thinner fade out and clear binder the same thing. Thanks great content.

Hi, fade out thinner is for the clearcoat to blend clearcoat into old clearcoat. Then you have blending basecoat clear which is what you spray on the panel first before applying silvers to help blend the metallic into the old metallic paint. Hope this helps. Jordan
