It was salty because you salted the meat alot, then you added a ton of bullion which is salty, looks good but even adding alittle more water would still be to salty for me. one spoon of the bullion would have been good and less salt on the meat, looks great tho
Hi! I would say 4-6 servings and I used one package but I'm sure 2 would work if you want to stretch the meal! But definitely use the frozen noodles if you can find them!
Hi! Searing the meat helps the natural juices stay inside the meat while cooking, creating a more flavorful finished product! I hope you tried the recipe and it was amazing!
My step dad claims his grandmother never washed her cast iron skillet, she would just whipe it out, and she used it to cook multiple types of dishes each month.....gross....I don't know how they didn't die but it definitely caused them some kind of hillbilly brain damage.

Geez, I would love to try this but, I can't find the frozen egg noodles in my parts.
Where do you live? They are hard to find but they are the best! Check near the frozen ravioli!
@@Missasplace Found frozen egg noodles at Walmart
Homemade egg noodles are easy to make and so much better for you. Google the recipe
What is the purpose of washing the meat? Curious if there are chemicals or something on it.
No chemicals, just a personal preference!
This seems delicious. I'd definitely leave that fat in... that's where all the flavor is.
Approximately how many servings does this make? What size package is the egg noodles?
Thank you

@@Missasplace Making it now. Unfortunately I do not have the frozen pasta. Will get that next time. Thank you
Instead of using water use beef broth because it has flavor.
@@paulcousino8773 I use water and beef base. It's the same thing as using broth!
Looks good! I did notice you used way too much Better than Beef seasoning ,hence the saltiness! Thanks
@karenlehn2351 definitely wasn't too salty, to each their own, I guess
Why sear the meat if its all going in the crockpot? Just curious, not judging you
She explains in the beginning of the video why.

Why don't I like bay leaves?
U might be a foreigner.
Two fatal cast iron errors... water in a hot pan and using metal tongs to scrape the pan.
My pan is still going strong!! I always oil it immediately and it's fine!
I do not, however, use metal tongs (anymore) 😅

@theresamc8515 I always use wooden utensils anyway, and they don't scratch either! Have a great day, and thanks for watching!
