I have the 168 brush marker set from Chotune (markers are basically the same as the TouchNew brush markers, just under another brand) as well as their 36 and 60 skin color sets, which are in total 264 brush markers! And I absolutely love them. The sets have so many beautiful pastel colors included and the skin colors are great as well. And all of them cost me just €96. Even Ohuhu can't beat that. And they can be refilled with Ohuhu ink or Touch Twin ink, which is even more amazing.
I also put them all on a scale when they arrived, and they were all the same weight (~17g per marker), meaning none of them was almost empty or dried out. Really impressive for such a cheap price.
EDIT: You gotta lay down enough ink to get a smooth gradient. going over it a few times is what we gotta do Sometimes. I just bought these. I got the 168 set for 66$. I thought they looked exactly like my copics n hopefully perform the same way. I also got the ohuhu brush set which are nice too.
Which one do you recommend for a beginner, the ohuhu set or TouchNew ?
Well for me maybe I would recommend Touchnew for beginners, because when I first draw an anime using markers I used touchfive and from that I learn how to control it and use it and after a year I change it into Touchnew markers and it is good to use it and maybe after a year I will go to ohuhu or copics😉,, and also I think Touchnew is also way cheaper than the ohuhu markers so it is good for beginners 😊 if you are planning to buy Touchnew markers,, link in the description box♥️
