It's fine that you're proud of your team as you should be. But as ND fans will tell you, you have to get a win in the playoffs to really earn respect.

I have been watching College Football for over 30 year now and the atmosphere at that game was totally amazing, one of the greatest atmosphere ever in a College Football game.

LSU fan here glad to see G5 finally get their shot. Was a big fan of UCF getting in the year they went undefeated, and even though we beat them in that bowl game, they deserved to be there that year. I'm hoping both you guys and Michigan blow both Alabama and Georgia out of the water, they are pretenders this year. Our terrible team almost beat Bama only for Bama to go and make Georgia look silly today. Whoever Cincy draws out of two, I think they have a real shot at making history. It would be so cool to see them be the fifth team to win a playoff over so many other teams.

Big Congrats to Luke Fickell and his Cincinnati Bearcats team for their historical season! For overcoming all the challenges they faced all season long and then to play the way they did when they needed it the most was truly unbelievable. The Cincinnati Bearcats are a hot team and have a ton of confidence going into the college football playoffs! The sky is the limit for the Cincinnati Bearcats team under Luke Fickell and next season they will be a force to be wrecken with in the Big 12.

These Bearcats are BADASS! Remember that they beat Notre Dame for their only loss in South Bend.
They have an uphill battle against Alabama, but if any G5 team can beat them it would be this one. They have draft prospects all over this roster, with a good chunk of them potential first or second rounders. It wouldn't shock me at all to see Sauce, Myjai, and Desmond go in the 1st round of this year's draft. Whyle is probably a 3rd or 4th guy, but could absolutely get to the 2nd. Alec Pierce, Curtis Brooks, Coby Bryant, Ja'von Hicks, Malik Vann, and Jerome Ford all seem to be guys that could go on day 3. They also have several really good looking underclassmen. The biggest issue for them is going to be Alabama's offensive line. Evan Neal, Emil Ekiyor, and Javion Cohen is one of the nastiest trios I've seen in years. Sanders, Brooks, and Vann have got to figure out a way to generate pressure. If they can, I'm actually confident in Gardner and Bryant's ability to lock up Williams and Metchie.

They won the Big East half the years they were in it when it still had Rutgers, Pitt, West Virginia, Pitt, Syracuse and Louisville in it. This is before anyone ever heard of UCF or Fresno.
BS, before UCF there was Houston. 2011 They were 11-0 going into the title game and lost a chance at an inevitable BCS Bowl and also 2016 when they beat #3 Oklahoma and #5 Louiville Cardinals. They were being predicted by everyone if they won out they were in the playoffs but they lost to Navy.

The BIG12 should be relieved to dump the all bark and no bite teams, at least according to recent performance. I have some serious conflicting thoughts that OK state missed out by 2 to 4 inches. I think that team might have been a good contender.

Houston’s defense was not enough to keep up with Cincinnatis speed on offense. Their offensive line was solid. Bama has a solid defensive line. Jordan battle, Will Anderson, Darien Mathis are all big boy dawgs that can pound this offense if Cincinnati isn’t careful.

These were not very good highlights, especially the second quarter. There were drives for both teams with no highlights of how they ended (Cincinnati was inside Houston's 10, then next play, they were inside their own 10 and the quarterback sacked at the one...what the heck happened there?!?)
The third quarter had several scores, but again, drives for both teams were not shown ending, just a couple of plays and the other team then had the ball?!?

So, let me get this straight. The committee is going to put Cinci in the playoffs because they beat Houston and Notre Dame? Cinci is the ONLY ranked team ND played this season, and so is the case with Houston. They play in a shitty conference, and at times were winning close games, when Bama would have won by 4 or 5 touchdowns. What a fcking joke. They will get beat by at least 3 TD's by Bama. You telling me they are better than Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Iowa, and a slew of SEC teams? If it was an 8 team playoff, like it should be, then I would say go ahead, but it's not. So instead of having a game where Bama may have a chance of getting beat, we get to see them in the chip game yet again. This is why I haven't watched a college football game in two years
