I was stuck in a small town Kansas hotel waiting around for a flight the next day so I tried passing time by flying micro quads around the small room. I broke the first drone with a crash in the first 15 seconds of flight and has to switch to a 2s quad that had too much power for indoor freestyle. I made it work though and got in a few fun tricks.

The cleaning crew opened the door and was like "oh sorry!" and then i heard them in the hall. "what was he doing? " ahaha!

@@pokematteus2514 No it was a video shoot at a farm and Mavic drone shots only so it was a small throw in bag of fpv stuff.
I asked the hotel maintenance guy if he had a soldering iron and he did not
motor wires... went to the park today to rip, 3 packs in.. motor wire popped.. annnd back home haha
Everytime. The whoops that have big solder pads will rip first. The ones with the plugs removed and a needles point solderjoint end up lasting the longest. Mysterious... haha
Same with me today too! Thought I fixed it and now none but one of my motors spin…

yah i love the weight savings of soldered motors but they sure are a pain
65mm with 2S??? I never heard of such a thing. Is it for longer flight times or need that for the fancier camera?
@@pharmapsychotic mostly just to try it! But 65mm with the extra cam weight is hard so 2s compensates well. It's not very easy to fly or tune. Not sure if it is worth it yet...

i don’t think they make em anymore and a good canopy if you can 3d print is a bear to find. I will find old stock still on ebay and aliexspress but they are getting to be more $. I can do a 75mm walksnail 1s or same split cam build both for $170. They are the same weight and same build so i’ve been shifting to walksnail cuz of other benefits like better latency and no sd cards ejecting in crashes
65mm on 2S? What motors you have there?
19000kv 0802. It's kinda uncharted territory honestly. I don't think that is the right motor for it. Maybe 15-17k would be better but i have a large stock pile of 19k so i used those.

i don’t recommend this though it’s really squirrelly and tough to tune and tricky to keep the motors cool.
go with a 2s 75mm build or 1s75mm instead
