  • This is a tour of cabin 14220, an excellent example of an ocean view balcony cabin on Icon Of The Seas.
This is one of the most common types of cabins on Icon Of The Seas... so, if you're booked on this cruise ship and are wondering what you're cabin will look like... this should give you a pretty good example. Many other cabin categories on Icon Of The Seas share a similar design to this, too.
In the video, you'll see how many of the cabin balconies on deck 14 are able to take advantage of the ample shade provided by an overhang from deck 15.
This cabin tour covers the balcony, the sleeping area, the couch, desk, and closet... as well as the bathroom, which features a significantly larger shower than you typically see on most cruise ships.
Figuring out which cabins are able to accommodate more than two people and how the extra beds are configured can be tricky! Royal Caribbean does a bad job of explaining all the variations on their web site. So, if you're going to be cruising with more than two people and you need someone knowledgeable of the various cabin arrangements on Icon Of The Seas, feel free to use the services of my travel agent, Caitlin Gallagher. Her services don't cost you anything extra, as her fees are paid for by the cruise line. In fact, she may be able to save you money on certain sailing dates. Visit Caitlin's web site at www.ambrentravel.com or give Caitlin a call at 1-904-364-5774. Unlike many companies you may have contacted, you won't be reaching some foreign call center or speaking to a pushy salesman. Caitlin works out of her home in Florida, and is extremely knowledgeable about Icon Of The Seas.
I'd love to hear your reaction to my Icon Of The Seas videos. Leave a comment here on RUclips with your thoughts or questions. I read all the comments, and I reply if needed.
    Thanks for watching!

This is a great room, the balcony is big enough to have sunbeds and the furniture looks practical and stylish.

Thanks for another informative video, Jim.
P.S. My 9-year-old nephew saw your review of the Odyssey of the Seas and now cruising that ship has become a must.

This is a wonderful looking cabin - it's so bright and airy! I'd love to say I always cruise on this cabin grade, but unfortunately you've put my inside cabins to shame, haha!

Nice but the cabin looks quite narrow and the sofa looks sort of puckered. I’d be forever soothing out those deep creases.

Standard for a cruise ship balcony cabin. You’d have to get a suite for something wider.
