Here's the story about Frankie Blue's final broadcast:
"A popular deejay is suing WNEW-FM, saying they allowed her old boss to put her through jingle hell for skipping their 2004 Christmas party.
Yvonne Velazquez says ex-Mix 102.7 FM program director Frankie Blue physically assaulted her for not sharing in the company’s holiday cheer.
“Who the fuck are you not to come to our Christmas party?” Velazquez’s suit quotes Blue as screaming.
“You are such a fucking diva,” he continued. “What did you think, you’re better than everybody?”
Blue followed up that performance by going on air, where he allegedly used the “f” word again. He was bounced from the station a few weeks later.
The suit says Blue began “violently grabbing” and “shaking” Velazquez, pushing her into his office, where he pinned her up against the wall. He punched “the wall next to her face three times,” while screaming “fucking diva!”
Velazquez ran down the staircase with Blue chasing her, the suit says. While driving home to get away from him, she turned on the radio and heard Blue on air during her time slot “at times mumbling, slurring and cursing,” the suit says.
Her $1 million suit says the incident caused her “severe permanent personal injuries.” It also names WNEW and its owners.
A spokeswoman for WNEW owner CBS Radio declined comment. Blue, whose real name is Frank Macchiaroli, could not be reached."

It always pisses me off when Opie interferes in the Sam/Ant bits.. Sam gets that playing the straight-man during bits like these gives Anthony and Jimmy more opportunities to kill.. Opie has to come in every single time and ruin the dynamic..
Opie's so fucking obsessed with trying to prove himself on-air that he'll take the wind out of the sails during a bit that's really working just to tell the audience that he's in on the joke, too. It's so fucking cringe. Johnny Carson did the same exact thing and a lot of people were immediately turned off by him because of it.
