I only have two problems with this land. First, there's no remaining space in the park to put it. Second, this has nothing to do with the parks' overall California theme. If they had the room for it, I would've placed it the back corner of Disneyland Park to the left of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
@@MrJuiceHugo Okay, but where would they extend it to? The only place I could possibly think of would be the land used for the Disneyland Forward project. If you try expand it in the already existing property, you're going to hit the roads surrounding the resort.
@@mitchellries256Fairly easy to build a bridge that won’t seem like a bridge over Disneyland Drive, like an upgraded version of bridge near the Lego Store in DTD.
@@mitchellries256What makes you think it's not part of Disneyland Forward? And expanding the existing parks west across a road is part of Disneyland Forward.
@@toddjones1480 I'm just confused why they would mention part of Disneyland Forward but not all of it. When they first announced Universal's Epic Universe, they mentioned everything the park contained at once, not individually.
Something seems deceptive here. They went to extraneous lengths to NOT use the word “Land” when referring to this Avatar project in Disney’s California Adventure. They keep saying “experience” and “location” while the concept art and model are totally suggesting that it’s a new sizable “land”. It looks like in actuality it’s a one single ride that, knowing Disney, moves at such a slow pace that grandpa’s rascal scooter would feel like Six Flags thrill ride when compared to.
honestly would rather have monsters inc at cali adventure. Avatar sucks lmao. I hate the idea of another Ip that disney doesn't own in any of the cali parks. I know at one time they didn't own Star Wars, but this is a land, and not one ride. Star Tours was a gamble, but not as big of a gamble as with Avatar. Why can't Disney just create something new for their Cali parks. Always trying to incorporate an IP got me sour. It's pretty legend Walt and them imaginers made rides like Pirates, and haunted mansion just out of new fresh ideas... They didn't own everything like they do now, and I think Disney fans miss that creative magic. You could always turn a new ride into a movie or whatever. The opportunity doesn't get lost
@@ChrisWehadababyitsaboy you’re right he does own it, but Disney has long term distribution and merchandise rights to it. Not really comparable to Avatar before the fox merger or Harry Potter at Universal. I do get not wanting more IP though, however avatar is easily the most suited to a theme park unlike Marvel or Star Wars. I wish we could return to original works and demo galaxy’s edge lol
Well that's your opinion. Avatar area is one of the most popular areas in FL. It is so beautiful. You don't have to like the movie or even know the movie to appreciate the beauty of the theming of Avatar land in AK.
I always am like “man I want to go to Disneyland so bad” and then I remember how crowded it is

Disneyland have announced they have talked with city of Anaheim to extend their land

Say goodbye to "World Of Color".
I like it already
Wow! 😃
Disneyland forward?

So that's why Disney owns 20th Century Studios.
That and Deadpool

It is actually the Shanghai Pirates ride system, and the model shows the that the building is completely hidden underneath the waterfall.
Could have been another IP
