Saw Mono and Alcest in Sweden a couple of years ago and it was the best live experience I've ever had.
Same🤘 i think it was 2016. I traveled from Finland to see them, so great bands with awesome and beautiful music. Unique bands🤘🎵😊

Ya vinieron varias veces a México, seguramente el próximo año regresan.
Saw them 2019 in Zagreb and by far they are best sounding band live ever..Something special..

I like music like this, just you can feel it. When you close your eyes you feel it. Pure.
Their new upcoming album Will be amazing. Mono, one of the best Post Rock bands.

Yasunori Takada left for personal reasons....The new drummer is Dahm Majuri Cipolla’s an American. Hard to replace a drum icon, but they have to move on.
Sad to say this stuff is done by much better bands - swans- gsybe- explosions etc. Mono is also too mopey.

I understand the comparison with GSYBE! (excellent) and Explosions in the Sky (which I personally don't appreciate much), but Swans are something completely different and should not be in your list. They are kind of experimental, doom, industrial, noise, whatever but not much post-rock in their music.
@@brunopiga663 I totally agree swans is pretty far off from 3rd wave post rock and I too have never liked explosions. Mono may not be the best in the genre but they're still damn good. Their new stuff is really impressive

Have you listened to any Mono album? Specially For My Parents, Hymn For The Inmortal Wind or You Are There?. I appreciate all bands you have mentioned, but Mono are a genre in themselves
