Jamie is the best when he starts to go sightly insane as he is explaining technique. Fun to watch as his eyes get all wobbly and he wants to grab the camera by the collar. Def passionate about his food.

I also used instead quartered russet potatoes as well, so adjust how long you cook it for depending on the size of the potato!!

No.1 - "3 table spoons" - yeah.... That times 3, lol. :D Great video. My GF always makes number 1, actually (I think she got it from your 30 minute meals book).

I'm in the dark side of FoodTube, a secret video about roast potatoes.
    1. I'll become a supervillain "The potato girl"
    2. I'll steal the recipe.
    3. I will hang the recipe in my evil layer.
    4. I'll make a threat to destroy the recipe.
    5. Jamie will defeat me with his banana boomerang and soccer shot.
    6. Jamie will save the recipe.
    7. I'll run out of ideas to write ;)

I'm in love with this recipe - made it 4 times and everyone loved it. But even more, i'm in love with the 3 pans you use in this recipe, Jamie. I want to buy one; went to your website but didn't see them there. Can you please let me know the make and how I could find them? Thanks!

Hey Jamie! I've tried doing this five times, even using all the ingredients in their own portions with mine, but they never come out the same! I don't know where I've gone wrong. After double checking and slashing all other possibilities of using the right ingredients and proper temperature, I'm assuming the type of potatoes I've been using has something to do with it. Where I am they don't list the type of potatoes, neither do the grocers know what I'm looking for when I mention Maris Piper potatoes. How do I know what kind of potato is suitable to use assuming not every bag of potatoes I see bear a resemblance to Maris Pipers?
On a side note, all past attempts ended up as tasty memories, however for once I'd like to know how the crunch and the browning on the potatoes taste like!

I made these last night...garlic and rosemary......followed the directions and they came our "home cooked perfect".....crispy bits and all. I cooked mine on a cookie sheet and it worked fine.
