Hey Joe and Frank - Why don't 5 brave GOP members side with the 212 Democrats to elect Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker? This makes just as much sense as what you're suggesting the Dems do.

Here are the facts. Jim Jordan has 99 votes. Steve Scalise has 113 votes. Hakeem Jeffries has 212 votes (last I checked there are 213 members of Democrats in Congress). Who do you think should be the Speaker?
This Democrat argument is ridiculous. McCarthy openly bashed them just before the vote even happened. He offered them no concessions in order to vote for him. A few Republicans could just as easily vote for Jeffries.
How? McCarthy is a liar. No one trusts him. Why would you save someone you do not trust?
mccarthy has the spine of a jelly fish, at a time when most americans cant afford a 1k expense he puts not limit on the debt cielign for them to spend another 4 trillion dollars. IT shoudlnt even be possible to spend 1 trillion, 4 trillion is 32k for every person in the united states, we should see sky scrapers beign built in every city, they could buy every family a vacation home. Where the hell is the money going something is VERY wrong.
This discussion on the Dems makes no sense. Offer concessions for the Dem vote or solve this in house. Oh, the Dems did that and McCarthy put his party first. Poor discussion and why I watch Bloomberg now

That is my view as well. Its incredible how they make this leap past blaming the renegade Republicans and immediately start criticizing the democrats even though the entire conference agreed to the rules in January.
