This was fun! The first time I went to Mount Charleston, we got out and walked up the hill. Surprise! It was a large pile of fresh, warm poo. I said whatever dropped that is nearby. Exploring is over! However, it was beautiful and it's 30 degrees cooler than the valley is yes, you need a jacket. So, I think indoor skydiving is next!

There's a genre of Korean campers that do this 1 night camping every weekend and they go all over South Korean camp sites, woods and forest.

I’ve been camping since I was a little kid in Northern Minnesota…never scared once…my dad always said that the creatures are more afraid of you than you are of them. The only what the f* moment I had was in the daylight when I was chased by a bear (who had two cubs with her). I ran to a barn with a hayloft…and met the farmers son 😉😉

Jeff, not sure what those boys would do without you, you planned and brought the gear, setup the tent, setup and cooked the food (great job). Glad they didn't burn down the woods or hurt themselves. Next time, don't need to cut down trees, plenty of fallen wood to cut up and use as firewood. Part of enjoying the great outdoors is just that, enjoy it for what it is. Maybe leave Steph behind next time, too scared of his own backyard...have seen 8yr olds handle themselves better, lol.
When they were on the ATVs I was yelling "LOOK at all the fallen wood!! Collect that and take it back to camp for the fire!" lol

It’s funny how you were the only one open to the camping experience 😅. I’m from the south AKA the country lol, I’ve never been camping but we’d go exploring the woods all the time as kids and have fires gone in the back yard at night. Loved watching, it’s great getting to see different parts of you and your personality 😊 great video once again Jeffrey ❤

Scariest thing out there: the 3 dudes in the woods with axes and BB Guns.
My 10 year old daughter sleeps in her own tent when we camp now. lol
Some tips: Take some firewood with you. Then you can gather kindling and a couple big logs and the whole day isn't spent gathering wood.
Prep most your food at home. Take baking mixes for pancakes all ready mixed up and in squirt bottles, veggies pre-cut, patties pre-made....Gives you more time for hikes, fishing, birdwatching, exploring, ATVs, biking, whatever....Take card games. After dark everyone's in the camp site. Tell stories, play games...move into the tent when it's too buggy/late/hard to see. Sleeping bags are a must (and so is a pad or something in between you and the cold ground)...put the blanket/comforter INSIDE the sleeping bag with you. When you're all snuggled up it gets so warm that you won't WANT to get out the tent and go to the car. lol
